The software provides backup functionality for Zoho Mail data across more than twenty five file formats including PST, MSG, EML, EMLX, MBOX, PDF, HTML, MHTML, CSV, TXT, DOC, DOCX, DOCM, JSON, TIFF, JPG, and PNG. It presents mailbox contents in a tree-structured interface that allows selection of specific folders and email items. The mail filter feature permits date-range-based selection of messages while the duplicate removal function identifies and excludes redundant messages according to sender, recipient, subject, and date. An incremental backup option prevents reprocessing of previously archived messages. The free up server space feature deletes messages from the Zoho server after backup to manage storage quotas.
Direct migration supports Microsoft Office three sixty five, Gmail, Thunderbird, and any IMAP-compatible client. The application maintains the original folder hierarchy and allows exclusion of attachments or separate saving of attachments when converting to PDF format. Custom naming conventions for backup files can be applied to match organizational requirements. Authentication uses Zoho credentials or third-party app passwords for enhanced security during login and migration operations.
The application operates as a standalone solution compatible with Windows ten and earlier versions of the Windows operating system. It connects to Zoho Mail servers using cloud authentication protocols and to destination platforms when performing migrations. The trial edition limits backup operations to fifty messages per folder and the licensed edition removes this restriction and enables full access to all features with round the clock technical support.
