CivilSurvey Expert is a Windows desktop application for civil engineers, surveyors, and drafting teams working on linear infrastructure projects including roads, irrigation canals, railways, bunds, embankments, drains, and sewers. The software covers the complete workflow from field book entry through cross-section and long-section generation, cut and fill area calculation, volume abstraction, and final print or DWG export. CAD is built in, so no AutoCAD licence is required. Licensing is available for single seats, firms, and training institutes, with a one-time per-computer payment and no subscription or per-project fees.

CivilSurvey Expert organises all project data, including field books, designs, templates, manual CAD edits, and settings, into a single portable .CSF file that can be emailed or opened on any Windows PC without conversion. The spreadsheet-based field book calculates reduced levels by height of instrument with arithmetic checks, and supports Excel import and export. Cross-sections and long sections accommodate up to five layers (ground plus four design or survey layers), with side slopes, derived toe points, and cut and fill areas calculated per layer. Additional capabilities include Dynamic Area Adjustment to a target cut or fill area, reverse field book calculation with change points, TIN-based chainage interpolation for intermediate level books, and volume abstraction by the average end area method exported directly to Excel. A template designer supports DWG import, and a batch print wizard covers paper sizes from A0 to A5 and Letter in portrait and landscape orientations.

The interface uses an office-style ribbon UI with light and dark themes, keeping the full workflow within a single window.
