ClickHouse Cloud is a fully managed cloud-native online analytical processing database service designed to support real-time analytics workloads. The service employs a usage-based metering model that tracks compute and storage resources independently and automatically scales compute resources to zero during periods of inactivity. Deployments are available on Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, and Microsoft Azure. A Bring Your Own Cloud option enables deployment within a customer-controlled virtual private cloud to address strict data residency and compliance requirements.

The service is offered in three tiers: Basic, Scale, and Enterprise. The Basic tier provides up to one tebibyte of storage capacity with eight to twelve gibibytes of memory per instance, single availability zone deployment, daily backups retained for one day, multifactor authentication and social login integration, and expert support with a one business day response for critical incidents. The Scale tier offers unlimited storage, configurable memory allocation, separation of compute and storage nodes, deployment across multiple availability zones, role based access controls, private networking, automatic vertical scaling and manual horizontal scaling, and round-the-clock expert support for critical issues. The Enterprise tier builds upon the Scale tier by adding saml-based single sign on, private region deployment, manual vertical scaling for custom resource profiles, enterprise support with a thirty minute response time for critical incidents, named lead support engineers, customer-managed encryption keys, scheduled upgrade windows, consultative migration guidance, and industry compliance certifications.

The platform provides fine-grained control and transparency through application programming interfaces and a connector ecosystem for third-party integration. Administrators can define autoscaling limits to prevent runaway queries, configure idle timeouts to optimize resource utilization, and review per-service usage reports in the management console. Data ingestion is supported through a variety of ClickPipes connectors. A managed Postgres offering is available in beta for transactional workloads and artificial intelligence driven applications.

ClickHouse Cloud is available for purchase directly or through public cloud marketplaces. Pricing and resource configurations remain consistent across channels. Service tier upgrades can be performed without interruption to operations.
