Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

Codowave overview
What is Codowave?
Codowave is a cloud-based autonomous AI software engineering agent that integrates directly with issue trackers including Linear, Trello, Jira, and GitHub Issues. Once connected to a software project, it operates continuously, picking up issues, scoping the required changes across files and call sites, writing code, executing tests, and opening pull requests around the clock without human initiation.
The platform runs a multi-agent pipeline for each issue. A planner agent produces an auditable, ordered change list specifying the file, function, and rationale for every modification before any code is written. A worker agent then implements the changes, while a reviewer agent reads the resulting diffs and runs automated tests. This worker-reviewer loop iterates up to three cycles of self-correction before output is surfaced to human reviewers. Pull requests are generated only after CI passes, tests are attached, and the recorded plan is included. Work that cannot be completed within these constraints is returned early rather than escalated as a partial result.
Codowave targets software development teams of any size that rely on structured issue tracking workflows. There are no on-premises deployment options; the agent operates entirely in the cloud. The architecture is designed to concentrate human review effort on decisions and architectural judgment rather than line-by-line implementation, with pull requests typically arriving with passing CI in under five minutes.
