Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

ContainerMath overview
What is ContainerMath?
ContainerMath is 3D container loading and cargo-packing software that turns messy cargo lists into optimized, exportable load plans. Built on a busy export dispatch floor, it replaces spreadsheet guesswork with placement-level plans your loading crew can actually follow.
TWO SCALES, ONE ENGINE
Carton Fit packs your retail products — cartons, cans, bottles, pouches and irregular items — into your own shipper boxes and crates (dimensions in mm), returning units-per-box and boxes-needed instantly, with an optional max weight per box. Freight then arranges boxes, pallets, drums, pipes and crates into the tightest legal 3D arrangement and tells you exactly how many containers you need.
KEY CAPABILITIES
- Smart bin-packing engine: an extreme-point algorithm fits mixed box sizes, orientations and stacks, including pipe nesting.
- AI manifest import: paste a dispatch list, packing list or Excel sheet and AI parses sizes, weights and quantities in seconds — even estimating dimensions for items described by name only.
- 3D + 2D load plans: an interactive 3D placement view plus a phone-friendly 2D cross-section for the dock.
- Weight distribution & CoG: centre-of-gravity and axle-balance analysis on every plan, so loads clear the weighbridge and survey.
- Crate & trolley modes: two-level packing — fill each crate or trolley by SKU, then stack crates into the container.
- My Load Plans & profiles: reusable cargo profiles, one-click scenario presets and full plan history for repeat jobs and audits.
VESSEL COVERAGE
40+ sea, road and rail vessel types — 20ft standard, 40ft standard and high-cube, 45ft HC, reefers, open-tops, flat-racks, curtainsiders, dry vans, 53ft trailers, flatbeds, step-decks, 32ft/55ft domestic, box trucks, rail boxcars, flatcars and gondolas. Compare any set side by side on capacity, internal dimensions and payload.
CARGO TYPES
Boxes, pallets, crates, bars and profiles, pipes and tubes, rolls and coils, drums and barrels, bottles and cans, IBC totes, sacks, big bags (FIBC) and pouches — each packed by its real geometry, orientation and stacking rules.
WHO USES IT
Manufacturers and exporters planning factory-gate dispatches; export and dispatch teams quoting container counts before production ends; logistics and freight planners and 3PLs comparing vessels for the same cargo; and project/infrastructure supply teams handling mixed boxed, crated and oversized consignments.
Includes a REST API for automation and a free CBM calculator. Free to start — no credit card, your first load plan in minutes.
