The application comes with an absence tracking functionality, which helps faculties monitor and submit student absence records and time sheets to the administration for further review. Managers can also send mass communication to students in the form of emails, attachments, surveys feedback lists, and more.
CORE ELMS integrates with several third-party learning management and single sign on (SSO) applications. There are several tools that allow students to download and capture assessments, journals, SOAP notes, and more from their field experiences.

Although CORE ELMS isn't the most intuitive for new users, a short orientation to the system is usually all that's needed to familiarize most users to its functionality. While the Notes function is quite helpful, it might be better organized if it had an option to sort by due date, rather than the defauly view.
