CraftedEX is jobsite documentation software for trade and construction companies. A craftsman takes a photo on site; the AI recognises the material, the work carried out and defects, and turns that into the records the company needs afterwards: measurements, quotes, the daily site diary, defect reports, time sheets and the invoice.

The problem it solves is the evening paperwork. Photos sit in a phone gallery, measurements on a note pad, hours on a slip of paper — and the office reconstructs all of it days later. CraftedEX captures the information where it happens and keeps it in one job file.

What it covers:

• Photo documentation with AI analysis — defects, substrates and materials are classified automatically; every classification a craftsman can dispute is put in front of a person before it becomes a record.

• Measurements per room and per area, including openings and deductions, feeding straight into the quote.

• Site diary to VOB standards, weather and crew included, sealed in a tamper-evident hash chain.

• Time tracking with GPS-based check-in, German working-time and minimum-wage rules built in, ready for a customs audit.

• Quotes and invoices, including e-invoicing (XRechnung, ZUGFeRD) and a DATEV export for the tax advisor.

• Trade-specific modules with real depth: electrical testing to DGUV V3, heating load calculation and drinking-water hygiene for plumbing, roof and flat-roof structures, painting substrates and consumption, structural and drywall measurement to REB, planting and pest documentation for landscaping, wood preservation for carpentry, and HOAI phases for architects.

• Voice input and interface in 12 languages (German, English, Turkish, Arabic, Polish, Romanian, Russian, Ukrainian, Croatian, Italian, French, Spanish) — for crews that do not all share one language.

Built for the site, not the desk: the app works offline and syncs when the signal comes back, so a cellar or a new-build without reception is not a blocker.

Data protection and record keeping: hosting is in Germany, AI inference runs inside the EU, records that must not change are protected by hash chains, and the accounting side follows German GoBD rules. Personal data is stripped from text before it reaches an AI model, and photo metadata including GPS is removed on upload.

The invoicing and accounting half can be switched off entirely for companies that already run separate accounting software — the documentation side works on its own.
