Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

Daytona overview
What is Daytona?
Daytona is a secure infrastructure platform designed for executing AI generated code within isolated sandbox environments. The platform delivers a high performance runtime specifically optimized for AI agents, large language models, code interpreters and evaluation workflows. It addresses the need for safe execution of untrusted code while meeting enterprise grade security standards and compliance with HIPAA, SOC two and GDPR. Daytona caters to organizations and development teams that require stateful execution environments for autonomous AI systems, coding agents, data analysis applications and reinforcement learning implementations.
Environment provisioning occurs in under ninety milliseconds, enabling rapid transitions from code to execution. Separated and isolated runtime protection ensures zero risk to underlying infrastructure. The system supports massive parallelization of concurrent workflows with reproducible snapshot states. Process execution capabilities enable code and command execution with real time output streaming and configurable timeouts. File system operations provide full create read update delete functionality with granular permission controls. Native Git integration manages credentials and repository operations directly within sandbox environments. Built in language server protocol support offers multi language code completion and real time analysis.
Daytona sandboxes run indefinitely to support long running tasks and persistent agent workflows. Environment snapshots can save, restore and resume any workflow instantly while preserving state across sessions. Volume support enables shared data access across multiple sandboxes without compromising isolation boundaries. Secure virtual desktop environments for Linux Ubuntu, Windows and macOS provide full programmatic control for desktop automation and testing workflows. Human in the loop features include secure shell access to sandboxes, browser based editor integration and web terminal functionality for command line interaction.
The control plane operates on customer managed compute infrastructure within the client cloud to eliminate cross tenant risks. An open source codebase enables full transparency and security verification. A RESTful API and software development kit provide programmatic control from languages such as Python, TypeScript, Ruby, Go and Java. Declarative image building through the SDK removes the need for registry management. Docker compatibility encompasses use of off the shelf images, Docker in Docker functionality, native Dockerfile support and Docker Compose integration. Regional deployment options cover Asia South, Central Europe in Frankfurt, Western Europe in London, Eastern United States in Washington District of Columbia and Western United States in Oregon to minimize latency for distributed workflows.
