Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

Doccupine overview
What is Doccupine?
Doccupine is an open-source documentation platform that converts Markdown and MDX files into fully themed, production-ready documentation websites. Available as managed cloud hosting or self-hosted on any Next.js-compatible platform, it targets product and platform teams, developer-facing companies, and technical writing teams that need to publish guides, tutorials, and product content. Non-technical contributors can author and edit documentation through a browser-based editor with live MDX preview, syntax highlighting, and intelligent autocompletion, while a pending-changes workflow stages edits into clean Git commits without requiring direct Git access. GitHub-native CI/CD triggers deployments on every push, with real-time build logs and deployment history surfaced in the dashboard.
The platform ships with a 14-plus component MDX library, auto-generated sidebar navigation overridable via a drag-and-drop navigation.json configuration, full theme customization across an 18-color palette with separate dark mode support, custom fonts, and custom logos. Custom domains are configured in one click with automatic DNS verification. Team collaboration is managed through four roles (Owner, Editor, Viewer, Billing), and media assets including images, fonts, and PDFs are handled directly in the editor with automatic path resolution. Analytics are available through a native PostHog integration proxied through the site's own domain, avoiding third-party cookies.
Doccupine includes a built-in AI assistant for content generation, editing suggestions, and summaries, operable in three modes: platform key (Doccupine-managed model and API key with monthly budget caps), bring-your-own key supporting OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google across 12-plus models, or disabled entirely. Every site ships with an MCP server that exposes documentation as a live knowledge base queryable by AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, and Windsurf. AI-powered search is included out of the box. Content is stored as standard Markdown and MDX files in Git with no proprietary block format, and the codebase is open-source under the O'Saasy License (MIT plus a commercial-hosting clause), allowing users to read, run, modify, and self-host freely. Subscription tiers include Trial, Pro, and Enterprise, with flat-rate pricing that includes AI, custom domains, and full branding on every plan.
