Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

Doorstep One overview
What is Doorstep One?
Doorstep One is purpose-built valet trash management software that connects every part of a service night—from route planning and porter assignments to live oversight, proof of service, review, reporting, payroll preparation, and resident communication.
Operations teams can create routes, organize properties and service points, schedule work across the week, assign porters, and respond to callouts or last-minute changes. During active routes, supervisors can monitor status and porter movement on a live map, verify work against property geofences, identify pauses or stalled progress, and replay completed routes later.
The iPhone and Android porter app gives field teams a clear, unit-by-unit workflow. Porters can scan QR codes, record pickups, capture photos, log violations or other exceptions, and complete pre- and post-route checks. The app supports English and Spanish and continues working when cell service is unavailable, then syncs route data and photos when connectivity returns.
Doorstep One creates a verifiable evidence chain for each service night. Service records can include timestamps, GPS and geofence context, unit details, photos, and porter notes. Automatic exception detection helps surface missed pickups, missed routes, missing photos, geofence failures, and unusually fast completions. Teams can optionally route submitted work through a collaborative supervisor review queue before client-facing reports are released, with edits and approvals preserved in an audit history.
Property managers can receive scheduled, branded daily reports with completion details, photos, violation summaries, and links to supporting records. They can also use a dedicated portal to review service history, reports, and violations. Photo-backed violation records can be exported as professional PDFs for resident follow-up.
Route compensation stays connected to completed work. Operators can configure route rates, day-specific or assignment-level overrides, review porter totals by pay period, add adjustments and pay codes, and export payroll-ready XLSX detail.
Resident-facing tools help providers communicate before questions become complaints. Connected residents can view service schedules and live status, receive set-out reminders and targeted operational notices, and optionally submit photo-backed service requests directly to the valet team.
Doorstep One supports multi-property and multi-region organizations with role- and scope-based access for owners, admins, supervisors, porters, and property managers. Together, the web platform and mobile apps replace disconnected spreadsheets, group texts, paper logs, and manual client reports with one system built specifically for valet trash operations.
