FieldSignal is an offline-first mobile application for iOS and Android designed for field professionals and teams across renewable energy, environmental consulting, mining and quarrying, utilities and infrastructure, and land surveying. The platform consolidates GPS-tagged field notes (text, voice-to-text, and photos), custom checklists, inspection forms, and GIS tools into a single app that operates without a network connection, syncing all captured data to the cloud automatically upon reconnection.

FieldSignal supports structured field data collection through custom checklists and inspection forms with nine field types, conditional logic, signature capture, and in-form photo capture, backed by an industry template library. GIS capabilities include shapefile and georeferenced GeoPDF import, offline map tile caching, and on-map drawing and measurement tools — functionality not commonly found in field data apps. Photo annotation is supported with six drawing tools, and every photo is automatically backed up to the cloud with captions and GPS coordinates attached. Team collaboration features include shared site visits with per-entry author identity and timestamps, visit assignment, team overlays, consent-based location sharing, and a crew coordination tool called Field Check-In.

FieldSignal also incorporates AI-generated report narratives derived from data captured during a site visit. Two report types are available: a Field Observations report generated mid-visit while work is still in progress, and a structured Site Visit Report produced at visit close. Both are delivered as branded PDFs emailed directly from the app. Report generation relies on a third-party AI provider and is subject to a per-user daily generation cap.
