Verified user reviews

GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.

Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.

Pros

“Being able to watermark videos with the custom options and use DRM protection gives me peace of mind for my paid courses, the security features are exactly what I needed I also really appreciate that storage is charged by "video minutes" rather than file size which is a huge cost-saving.”

Dr D.

Independent researcher

“Another feature I really appreciate is the player's customization: I can hide the progress bar, place the logo wherever I want, disable all controls, or even enable a download button when needed.”

Andrés L.

Consultant

“I like the fact that I can control my media, my live streams, my library and folders, with privacy features that are unmatched.”

anthony g.

Owner

Pros

“It gives us a polished viewing experience without outside advertisements or unrelated recommendations, and the player can be adjusted with our logo, colors, and preferred embed settings.”

Randall H.

CEO

“Their support team responded very quickly and precisely to every question I asked; I can see they are sticking to their roadmap, and the switch from Vimeo to Livid is incredibly easy and intuitive thanks to their "LOVE" tool: you simply log in to your Vimeo account, select the videos you want to move, and the program handles the rest automatically.”

Alessandro V.

consultant

“The process to upload videos, configure every video and limit it to my domain it's straightforward and also could be automated via API (I didn't use this functionality at the moment)”

Carlos L.

CTO

Cons

“Gumlet lets me select any frame or upload an image for a thumbnail, but I miss having a built-in thumbnail creator for more eye catching designs.”

Gioacchino F.

Marketing

“The combination of extra payment for CNAME and an alteration of the storage updating system does make the budgeting side of things difficult for businesses trying to be cost neutral in regards to their media hosting fees.”

Caleb S.

NCLEX Tutor

“It needs a little more attention as its a page I use a lot when sharing content with clients and it does not reflect the gumlet look and feel.”

Emad A.

CEO

Cons

“After organizing my videos into folders, I was disappointed to learn that I could not share the entire folder with all its contents but can only share each individual video.”
