Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

HTML/CSS to Image API overview
What is HTML/CSS to Image API?
HTML/CSS to Image (HCTI) is an API for generating images and PDFs from HTML, CSS, live webpages, and reusable templates. Developers use it to add social previews, personalized graphics, website screenshots, reports, and receipts to their applications. Marketing and operations teams can generate content through a visual editor and automation integrations.
Rendering and output
HCTI uses Chromium to render your content with browser-native HTML and CSS support. Bring your own fonts, styles, and layouts, then generate PNG, JPG, WebP, or PDF output. Screenshot a full webpage, capture a specific element, or set a custom viewport. Rendering controls include device scale, color scheme, and delays for content that needs time to load.
Templates and batch generation
Create templates in HTML and CSS or build them in the visual template editor using text, images, shapes, and layout blocks. Connect properties to variables, then send new values to generate each variation. Template versioning lets applications render against a specific version. Batch generation produces multiple variations from sets of data.
API and integrations
The REST API accepts JSON requests and works with any language that supports HTTP. Handwritten client libraries provide typed interfaces and convenience methods; most have zero dependencies. Zapier, Make, and n8n integrations connect rendering to existing workflows, while the MCP server lets compatible AI tools generate files, capture URLs, and work with saved templates.
Shared access and storage
Organizations share templates, uploaded media, generated images, and API usage without per-seat charges. Owner, admin, and member roles control access to administrative functions.
Generated files can be delivered to your own storage, including Amazon S3, Cloudflare R2, Google Cloud Storage, and other S3-compatible providers. Saved storage configurations let requests reference a destination ID without including storage credentials in each payload. Teams can keep their existing CDN and retention policies and optionally disable HCTI file storage.
Built for production use
Before starting HCTI, we worked on scaling very large online services at major companies. That experience shaped our emphasis on rendering speed, scalability, and developer experience. Documentation, practical examples, and email support help teams implement and maintain their integrations.
Every account includes 50 free images each month, with no credit card required. Paid plans accommodate larger rendering workloads.
