io1 by Bitmot is a relay tool that gives any locally running service a stable public HTTPS URL without deployment, inbound firewall changes, or port forwarding. A native local application (io1 Relay) dials outbound to a cloud-hosted public gateway (io1 Gateway), which terminates TLS, supports HTTP/2 and WebSocket routing, and forwards incoming traffic back to the local service as plain localhost traffic. The public URL remains stable regardless of which machine the relay runs on, making it suited for webhook development, OAuth and SSO callback testing, AI agent endpoint exposure, link unfurlers, and embed workflows.

The platform supports multiple hostnames served over a single relay process, all-or-nothing hostname claiming to prevent partial publication states, and configurable health probes to define uptime criteria. When a local service is offline, visitors are shown a branded offline page with optional email capture rather than raw connection errors. Remote relay management allows listing and terminating active relays across any device from any location. Access control features include email-gated hostname access, role-based access control, two-step verification, and device keys that never leave the local machine. DDoS protection is applied at the gateway edge, and the platform is GDPR compliant with no traffic mining or retention.
