Ledger Road is DOT compliance records software for US trucking companies. Owners, safety managers and office staff use it in a web browser to keep driver files, vehicle inspections and maintenance history together, organized by driver and by truck.

Driver qualification files show what is on file and what still needs work: the employment application, motor vehicle record and annual review, road test evidence and medical certificate dates. A folder of uploads is not treated as complete until the right documents are there.

Drivers complete walkaround inspections on a phone, even offline, by scanning the label on the truck. Any defect they report stays open until the repair is recorded and signed off, so the original report and the correction can be read together later.

Maintenance entries, invoices and work orders are kept against each vehicle, so another person can follow the service history. Trailers and dollies are included at no extra charge.

Expiry reminders go out at 90, 60 and 30 days. When an auditor asks for records, Ledger Road assembles an audit packet from what is saved, and read-only auditor access can be shared. Role-based permissions and roster imports are included.
