Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

LIMS IQ overview
What is LIMS IQ?
LIMS IQ is a cloud hosted laboratory information system that manages order to result workflows across clinical, toxicology, molecular and specialty laboratories. The platform supports reference laboratories, physician office labs, public health facilities, hospital and health system laboratories, toxicology and pain management centers, molecular and next generation sequencing operations, microbiology and serology units, and clinical trial and biorepository facilities. The system employs a modular architecture that unifies accessioning, specimen tracking, instrument connectivity, client and patient portals, analytics and compliance management. It is designed to comply with Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments and College of American Pathologists regulations as well as Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act requirements while scaling to accommodate multiple users, specimens and locations without performance degradation.
Core modules enable barcode driven order entry and accessioning with chain of custody and immutable audit trails. Specimen tracking spans patient registration, barcode labeling, specimen routing, receiving and sample management across laboratory departments. A configurable rules engine supports rules based resulting, reflex testing protocols and automated result validation. Quality control workflows include proficiency testing and advanced flag management. Specialized modules address molecular testing with advanced polymerase chain reaction review, toxicology screening and confirmation protocols with service level agreement monitoring and biobanking operations. A phlebotomy management module delivers mobile web application support for collection workflows, rapid accessioning via barcode technology, real time specimen tracking and patient scheduling. Revenue cycle management features encompass insurance verification, claim submission, payment posting and denial tracking with billing ready report generation.
Extensive integration capabilities include Health Level Seven interfaces, bidirectional instrument communication and secure application programming interfaces connecting with electronic medical record and electronic health record systems, laboratory instruments, billing platforms and external reference laboratories. A vendor neutral connectivity layer supports bidirectional interfacing with liquid chromatography mass spectrometry and other instrumentation as well as molecular platforms from major vendors. The system parses instrument output in common formats such as CSV and XML to import results and quality control flags automatically. The client portal module provides a branded digital interface for physicians and clients to place paperless orders, upload documents, order supplies and sign digital forms. The patient portal offers HIPAA compliant result delivery with self registration, secure access to historical results, email and text notifications, printable reports and direct provider communication with record updates.
Analytics and reporting features include customizable dashboards by user role with metrics for turnaround time, test volume, specimen status, quality indicators and financial performance. Role based security controls deliver granular access permissions across configurable roles and comprehensive audit trails record all user actions for compliance and data integrity. The platform employs encryption for data in transit and at rest, automated backups and disaster recovery to ensure data security and system resilience. Implementation services provide data migration, workflow mapping, user training and ongoing technical support through a service team.
