Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

LoadSEER overview
What is LoadSEER?
LoadSEER is a geospatial electric load forecasting platform developed by Integral Analytics and designed specifically for electric utilities. LoadSEER enables distribution planning teams to forecast where and when electricity demand will grow — at the feeder, substation, and parcel level — across their entire service territory. Unlike top-down corporate load forecasting tools, LoadSEER uses a bottom-up, parcel-level approach that maps directly to the geography distribution planners work in every day. The platform integrates economics and engineering data in a single application, giving utilities a defensible, data-driven foundation for capital investment decisions, regulatory filings, and long-range infrastructure planning.
Geospatial Load Forecasting feature produces feeder- and substation-level load forecasts across a utility's full service territory, grounded in a licensed national building stock dataset covering physical and energy characteristics of every U.S. building. EV Load Impact Forecasting models the location-specific load impact of electric vehicle adoption on the distribution system, enabling planners to identify where EV charging demand will create feeder and substation constraints. Multi-Scenario DER Forecasting helps forecast distributed energy resource adoption — including rooftop solar, battery storage, and building electrification — across multiple planning scenarios to support integrated distribution planning under uncertainty. Capacity Headroom Reporting identifies areas of the distribution system approaching capacity constraints or carrying available headroom, providing inputs for downstream power flow tools such as CYME and Synergi. Data Center Load Forecasting models the distribution-level load impact of data center development — a critical emerging use case for utilities in high-growth regions. Integrated Distribution Planning (IDP) Support: Provides the spatial load forecast inputs required for IDP and integrated resource planning (IRP) processes, supporting regulatory filings, rate cases, and capital planning cycles.
LoadSEER includes a licensed national building stock dataset covering every U.S. building, with physical characteristics such as size, age, and construction type. This dataset underpins the platform's geospatial precision and is a primary competitive differentiator. LoadSEER is also designed to integrate directly with downstream distribution planning tools including CYME, Synergi, and the envelio Intelligent Grid Platform, reducing manual data transfers between planning environments.
LoadSEER is purpose-built for electric utility distribution planning teams, resource planners, and grid modernization groups at investor-owned utilities, municipal utilities, electric cooperatives, and public utility districts. It is also used by transmission and distribution planning consultants performing capacity studies on behalf of utility clients.
