Mise captures recipes via photo (including multi-page handwritten cards and notebooks) or voice input, then uses AI-powered conversion to produce structured, searchable recipe records. The shared kitchen library is accessible on any phone via QR code, meaning the full recipe collection is visible to all team members without manual data re-entry. Recipes can be copied and shared across kitchens, and ownership of recipes stays with the user regardless of where they work. A free tier provides 5 AI imports in total; the Chef Pro tier scales to 50 AI imports per month for active culinary professionals.
Mise addresses a core operational challenge in professional kitchens: recipe knowledge walking out the door when staff leave. By digitizing and centralizing recipes in a team-visible cloud library, Mise keeps institutional culinary knowledge intact and searchable across the entire team.
