Moondream is an open-weight family of Vision Language Models (VLMs) designed for developers and engineering teams building production computer vision applications. Unlike general-purpose chatbots, the models are trained natively on vision tasks including object detection, visual Q&A, image captioning, pointing and counting, image segmentation, OCR, document understanding, and grounded spatial reasoning.
