Notarus overview

What is Notarus?

Notarus is a cloud-based website feedback and bug reporting tool designed for web development teams, QA teams, and digital agencies. Deployed via a script tag embedded on any website, it captures annotated screenshots, console logs, network data, and full browser environment details at the moment a report is submitted. Session replay records activity in the minutes preceding a report, giving teams the context needed to reproduce and triage issues without back-and-forth communication. A screen recording option allows reporters to manually capture and narrate bugs directly from the live page.

Bug reports flow through a built-in board and pipeline with configurable stages: Received, WIP, QA, and Done. Reporters track the status of their submissions via a unique link with no account required, and a dedicated client portal provides an external-facing view of work in progress. For teams managing client relationships, this removes friction from status communication while keeping all activity centralized. A review mode allows tickets to be filed directly on the live page with feedback and evidence attached, supporting structured annotation workflows.

Beyond bug reporting, Notarus includes a survey module supporting NPS, CSAT, rating, choice, and open-text formats, all delivered through the same embeddable widget. The widget supports theming options including colors, labels, and layout customization to align with existing site design. By consolidating evidence capture, bug tracking, client communication, and feedback surveys into a single tool, Notarus serves as a unified feedback layer for teams building and maintaining web products.
