What is Ody?
Ody is a cloud-based AI assistant for solo business owners, freelancers, and independents that operates entirely within the iPhone Messages app via a dedicated iMessage number. No separate app download is required. By connecting to the user's existing third-party accounts, Ody executes administrative tasks directly inside those platforms on the user's behalf, including sending and following up on invoices by email, drafting client communications in the user's voice, sending booking confirmations and payment reminders, and conducting multi-step research on pricing, suppliers, and regulations.
Ody retains persistent memory of each client's terms, job history, pricing, and details, and proactively alerts the user before quotes expire, invoices run late, or licenses lapse. All activity surfaces in a single iMessage conversation thread, giving the user full visibility and the ability to correct or adjust any action at any time. Users can configure how much runs autonomously versus with check-ins, and can request new app or feature integrations directly in the conversation for review within 24 hours.
Ody is designed for any solo or independent operator who runs a business without a back-office or admin team, regardless of industry vertical. Client relationships remain entirely under the user's control; Ody handles administrative work only and does not communicate directly with clients. iPhone is required; Android is not supported.
