Okloq is a cloud-based automatic time tracking tool for professional service firms in legal, engineering, architecture, accounting, and advisory sectors. A locally installed Windows desktop app monitors active windows, program names, and file paths every two seconds, detecting project numbers from folder names, file names, and email subjects without per-project configuration. At the end of each workday, a proposed timesheet is generated for the employee to review, edit, and approve. Raw activity data, including window titles, file paths, and start/end times, never leaves the employee's device. Only approved entries, consisting of project, type of work, hours, and description, are transmitted to the firm and connected software.

Okloq supports firms ranging from individual freelancers to multi-employee organizations through Solo, Office, and Hourly Billers plans. Project number pattern recognition requires only two or three sample numbers from an administrator; the pattern is inferred automatically with no manual programming per project. Budget tracking per project includes usage display and near-limit notifications. Time entries can be rounded to six minutes or quarter-hour increments without shifting the day total. Unassigned time stays local or routes to an internal project. The admin portal covers employee and device management, firm-wide settings, approved hours, budgets, invoicing, and an activity log.

Approved hours flow directly into connected invoicing and time-tracking platforms via integrations with Moneybird, Exact Online, Simplicate, e-Boekhouden, SnelStart, Toggl Track, Harvest, Clockify, a custom webhook, and configurable CSV or PDF export. The service is hosted in the EU, with raw activity data stored exclusively on the employee's device. A Mac version of the desktop app is currently in development. Pricing is denominated in EUR, reflecting a primary focus on European markets.
