Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

Pallet Designer overview
What is Pallet Designer?
Every new product on a palletizing line usually means days of robot teaching and PLC programming. Pallet Designer removes that step. The integrator or the plant's own engineer designs the layer pattern visually, and the move-planning algorithm works out the complete robot sequence by itself: which cases the gripper picks together, where the gripper goes, the approach direction and the placing order, avoiding collisions with already placed cases and station obstacles.
The finished configuration goes straight to the machine as ready-to-load data, with ready-made function blocks and HMI screens for Siemens PLC/HMI, or as CSV/JSON for other control systems. A PDF document is generated for every layout.
What you can do with it:
- Optimize a layer pattern automatically for the maximum number of cases, with interlocked layers for a stable stack
- Build pallet stacks and mixed-product pallets with several product variants
- Check feasibility and safety of a layout before it reaches the machine
- See the pallet in 3D before the first case is placed
- Let the end customer's operators create new layouts themselves, within limits set by the integrator
Pallet Designer works for palletizing and depalletizing and is used by automation integrators, PLC/HMI and robot programmers, process engineers and packaging engineers.
