ParadeWorks overview

What is ParadeWorks?

ParadeWorks is a cloud-based parade planning platform accessible from any browser or mobile device, with no installation required and setup in under 10 minutes. Designed for parade organizers across municipalities, chambers of commerce, universities, nonprofits, and civic organizations, it consolidates route planning, lineup configuration, volunteer coordination, sponsorship management, live check-in, and public-facing communications into a single system, replacing spreadsheets, group texts, and paper lists.

The platform covers the full lifecycle of parade operations. Route planning includes map drawing and road closure management. Lineup configuration supports drag-and-drop sorting and one-click Smart Sort, which automatically reorders units to prevent audio clashes, type clusters, and animal conflicts. A built-in parade simulator lets organizers test unit orders, identify timing and flow issues, and adjust segments and marshal assignments before parade day. On event day, a real-time shared check-in board gives all crew members live unit and staff status from any phone. A judge scoring system supports multi-judge panels and split-by-category strategies, with Smart Assign distributing judges by category expertise. Sponsorship management includes configurable tiers, a prospect pipeline, invoicing, and financial reconciliation, with payments processed directly to the organizer's own Stripe account. Every plan includes a public parade website with interactive maps, countdown timers, FAQs, and embedded application forms for units, sponsors, and volunteers. Smart Signs drafts print-ready parking, directional, and station signs from the organizer's own plan data. Auto-built documents include announcer scripts, role guides, and printable sheets with merge fields. Additional capabilities include QR code tracking, equipment checkout, supply tracking, donations collection, email and social communications, financial tracking, analytics, and progress checklists.

ParadeWorks offers a free plan for parades up to 30 units with no credit card required, alongside paid annual plans for volunteer-run events, community teams, and large flagship parades. Reusable templates, roles, and logistics configurations support year-to-year institutional knowledge retention across organizations of any size.
