Pascal overview

What is Pascal?

Pascal is a cloud-based AI performance coaching platform built for managers at every level, from first-line managers to senior leaders, as well as HR, learning and development, and people operations teams overseeing manager development programs. Delivered natively inside Slack, Microsoft Teams, and a web app, Pascal joins video meetings on Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams, observes live leadership interactions, and sends timestamped, behaviorally specific feedback within minutes of each meeting ending. Each manager receives a private instance with persistent memory that tracks goals, communication patterns, team relationships, and meeting history across sessions, growing more contextually relevant over time.

Pascal operates across three layers of context: foundational (company culture, values, competency frameworks, performance reviews, and goals), relational (team dynamics, relationship patterns, and interaction history), and behavioral (real-time meeting observation covering speaking time ratios, interruption frequency, question types, emotional tone shifts, and engagement indicators). This architecture allows Pascal to deliver coaching before, during, and after meetings without requiring manager prompts, including pre-meeting conversation planning, proactive nudges ahead of difficult conversations, in-meeting Slack or Teams chat coaching, post-meeting behavioral feedback, and daily or weekly pattern summaries. Voice and text role-play simulations draw on known context about specific team members. Guidance adapts to each organization's competency framework, cultural norms, and leadership model, and is grounded in ICF-certified coaching methodology.

Pascal integrates with Google Calendar, Outlook, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, and HRIS platforms including Lattice, Culture Amp, Dayforce, Darwin Box, Bob, and Workday. SSO is supported via Okta and Google. Pre-built integrations deploy in two to five days; custom API integrations take two to four weeks. HR and people leaders access aggregated, anonymized team-level coaching insights while individual manager data remains private. The platform is SOC 2 compliant, aligned with GDPR and CCPA, and uses AES-256 encryption in transit and at rest. EU, UK, and US data residency options are available, with zero-day data retention options for regulated industries including pharma and banking. Customer data is never used to train AI models. Pascal serves mid-market and enterprise customers across technology, life sciences, SaaS, and fintech, with documented deployments at organizations including HubSpot, Springboard, Ripple, and Verkada.
