Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

PlanTogether by MyFinancialApps overview
What is PlanTogether by MyFinancialApps?
PlanTogether is a financial-planning app for life-insurance advisors and other financial professionals, such as accountants, bookkeepers, tax preparers, money coaches, and mortgage and real estate agents, and their clients: clients get their own budgeting app on iOS and Android, and Canadian life-licensed advisors get two named compliance modules - Client-Level Compliance and Sale-Level Compliance. Client functions: a household budget, Safe-to-Spend with a 12-month cashflow runway, Debt Freedom payoff dates using snowball or avalanche with an extra-payment slider, goals, net worth, and the Payday Planner and Cashflow Calendar, which clients switch on themselves. Budget tracking is active by design: clients plan ahead and enter and confirm their own spending, with no bank syncing. Advisor functions: invite clients from a dashboard, plan from the numbers the client keeps current, run a needs analysis from the client's own numbers if life-licensed, and control what each client can see. Compliance functions for Canadian life-licensed advisors: Client-Level Compliance checks every client file for disclosure, privacy consent, fact find with client confirmation and needs analysis, with deficiencies listed per client. Sale-Level Compliance gates each life sale in order: needs analysis, reason-why letter, replacement paperwork including the Quebec AMF notice, and policy delivery receipt, each step dated with signed copies on record, under rules for every Canadian province and territory. E-signature is built in at no extra cost on the Compliance plan, or paper with the copy recorded on file. Platforms: iOS and Android apps, plus web access. Not included: insurance quoting, illustration comparison, in-force illustrations, and CRM pipeline management. Pricing: SetUp is $0 per month for the professional plus the first five clients. Life-licensed advisors get everything except sending documents for e-signature, then Starter, Planner and Compliance at $29, $49 and $79 per month; other financial professionals, such as accountants, bookkeepers, tax preparers, money coaches, real estate agents, and advisors licensed for mutual funds, securities or mortgages, get Essentials at $39 per month. Month to month, CAD in Canada and USD in the US. Clients do not pay for the app: PlanTogether bills the advisor, and an advisor who decides to charge a client for budget access sets that up with them, outside the app.
