Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

PortalBase overview
What is PortalBase?
PortalBase gives frontline companies one place for the work that happens on the floor, in the field and on the road. Warehouses, manufacturing plants, construction crews, field service teams, retail stores and hotels use it to train people, run inspections, fill out forms and keep safety records, all from a phone.
Training: Build courses from short steps with video, documents and quizzes, or import existing SCORM 1.2 and 2004 courses. Assign training by role or site, with due dates and repeats. Workers train on their phone, offline if needed, in English or Spanish. Supervisors sign off on hands-on skills, and passing a course can issue a certification with an expiry date.
Inspections: Workers scan a QR tag on a forklift, truck or machine to open its pre-use check. Each step is marked Pass, Concern or Fail, with photos and notes. A Concern or Fail opens a corrective action with an owner and a due date, so problems get fixed instead of filed.
Forms and logs: Build forms with a drag-and-drop builder, or describe one in a sentence and review the draft AI builds. Forms work offline with photos, signatures and required fields, and every submission is kept as a record with a PDF.
Safety and certifications: Report incidents, near misses and hazards from the phone. Incident reports are kept as protected records. Every certification tracks its expiry, with a 30-day warning list, and each worker carries their cards in a phone wallet with a QR code anyone can scan to check they're current.
Ask: Workers and supervisors ask questions in plain words and get answers from the company's own SOPs, trainings and documents, with the source shown. Offline, Ask searches the documents already on the phone.
Built for crews: The phone app works fully offline and syncs when signal comes back. Shared tablets support crew sign-on with a badge scan and PIN. People with no company email can still sign in. Company SSO is supported where the customer runs it.
Reports: See what's done, due and late by site, person and equipment, and export what you need. Admin tools live inside the same app, not a separate console.
PortalBase connects with AI assistants too. It's listed in Claude's connector directory, and each connection acts only as the person who signed in.
