PrepQ overview
What is PrepQ?
PrepQ gives procedural practices an automated answer line for patient education. Each practice receives a dedicated phone number that patients can text or call with questions about upcoming or completed procedures, and PrepQ replies instantly with answers written and approved by board certified physicians. The library covers more than 700 procedures and over 7,500 approved question and answer pairs across 14 specialties, including pain management, gastroenterology, orthopedics, urology, cardiology, surgery, ENT, OB/GYN, dermatology, ophthalmology, plastics, and dental. Anything the library cannot answer is referred back to the office, and urgent symptoms are directed to emergency services, so patients never receive improvised AI guidance. PrepQ runs on HIPAA compliant AWS infrastructure with encrypted data, provides a Business Associate Agreement, and supports English and Spanish. Practices are typically live within about 72 hours with no EHR integration required. Pricing is per provider with free staff seats, and support comes directly from the founding physician team.
