Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

Protee OS overview
What is Protee OS?
Protée OS is the operating system for event planning and production. Built by a producer, not a software company — 23 years on site.
It is not a CRM and does not replace one. It picks up at the point an event is won and has to be built.
Core model
Zone Architecture converts a physical event space into a structured data model using a predetermined zone taxonomy — ceiling, walls, floor, stage, entrance, pre-function. Every element is allocated to the zone it occupies, carrying quantity, dimensions, weight and specification. The allocation is the source; documents are outputs of it. Patent pending .
What generates from the allocation
Scope of Works — read-only, grouped by zone and install phase (bump-in, set-up, strike, bump-out), with cost and responsible vendor per line.
Vendor briefs — structured, carrying floor plan, moodboard, dates, times and positioning.
Quote comparison — each quote rendered against the brief it answers.
Runsheets — fixed milestone structure, multi-day, sorted on a composite date and phase key, rendered in the venue's own timezone via IANA timezone lookup rather than the browser's.
Risk flags — working at heights flagged automatically on ceiling and rigging elements.
Also included
Budget tracking without manual entry. Crew portal with availability, licences and shift scheduling. Insurance document storage and distribution to venues. Seating plans, RSVPs, dietary requirements, QR ticketing and a guest portal. Vendor sourcing by trade and location.
Access model
Vendors, venues, crew and guests each work in their own portal — free and uncapped on every plan including the trial. Vendor portals use magic-link authentication with short-lived tokens; bank details are masked.
Vendor verification
ABN validation against the business register, BSB validation against the AusPayNet registry, and independent phone verification through Google Places as an anti-fraud layer. New Zealand uses format validation.
Integrations
Stripe for billing and subscriptions. Google Maps and Places for venue and vendor location and verification.
Security
Hosted on infrastructure certified to SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, PCI DSS and operating under GDPR. Session handling uses httpOnly cookies. Account data is isolated per account; there is no cross-account data access by design.
Deployment
Cloud, SaaS, web-based. Works on desktop and mobile browsers. No install.
Not AI. A logic engine. AI is used only for extraction — reading a palette from a moodboard, pulling figures from a quote. Every allocation decision runs on defined logic and returns the same result twice.
