RAM Folder operates natively on macOS, integrating with the file system at the volume level so that any application writing to the mounted path automatically benefits from in-memory storage. Configuration is minimal: users select a folder, allocate a RAM volume size, and mount. Data written to the volume persists only for the session, making it appropriate for ephemeral build artifacts, temporary caches, and intermediate compilation outputs where durability is not required.
