Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

RCM Workbench overview
What is RCM Workbench?
RCM Workbench is a free, browser-based risk and control matrix builder for internal auditors across organizations of all sizes. It consolidates a 5x5 risk register and live heatmap, control mapping, design and operating effectiveness (DE/OE) test plans, a regulatory-flagged issues log, and team hours tracking into a single interface. No installation, account creation, server, or IT procurement is required. All data is stored in the browser's local storage on the user's machine, and nothing is transmitted externally, making it compatible with organizational data policies that restrict cloud-based tools.
The platform centers on a live residual-risk model that scores inherent risk as likelihood multiplied by impact on 5-point scales. Control weight (full for key controls, half for non-key) is scaled by design and operating conclusions to set an assurance tier that discounts residual likelihood only, never impact. Judgment overrides are supported, flagged with a JDG indicator, and require attached rationale, so the model informs rather than replaces auditor judgment. Controls are auto-numbered, and test plan scaffolding is generated automatically for each new control. The issues log captures severity, type, remediation ownership, due dates, and regulatory flags including SOX, MRA, MRIA, and consent orders, all rolling up to a summary dashboard. Team assignment, capacity settings, load bars, and unassigned-hours warnings support resource planning. One-click CSV exports are shaped for pivot tables and GRC import templates compatible with platforms such as AuditBoard, Archer, TeamMate, and MetricStream, and portable JSON backups serve as an audit trail.
RCM Workbench targets internal audit functions of any size, from two- to three-person teams that do not require an enterprise GRC platform, to auditors at larger organizations using it as a planning surface alongside existing systems. It also serves consultants and co-source auditors on discrete engagements, auditors standing up a new internal audit function, and candidates studying for the CIA. Two built-in worked examples covering Treasury and Liquidity Risk and Procure-to-Pay provide immediate reference points. Additional productivity features include global search, keyboard shortcuts, undo on destructive actions, two-step deletes, an unsaved-changes guard, autosave with a visible timestamp, sortable tables, dark mode, focus mode, and print-clean output.
