Redactwizard is desktop software for redacting sensitive information from PDF, DOCX, and scanned documents using locally-installed AI on Windows systems. Operating entirely offline, it identifies personally identifiable information across major European languages. Redaction methods include blackout masking, tokenization, synthetic replacement, and pseudonymization. PDF pages are reconstructed to prevent recovery of redacted content, while DOCX and XLSX files are modified at the XML level for permanent data removal. Batch processing automates redaction for multiple files via hot-folder functionality. An integrated PDF editor supports manual and AI-assisted redaction with optical character recognition for scanned documents. Features include custom pattern creation, blacklist/whitelist controls, audit logs, statistical analysis, document comparison, Bates numbering, and automated barcode redaction. The software supports multiple file formats for import and export. Bonus: Masked AI-Chat with ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini for legal work.
