SignOps overview

What is SignOps?

SignOps is a cloud-based API platform designed for developers and development teams building Android, iOS, and web applications. It consolidates push notifications, in-app login approvals, passkey authentication, TOTP-based authenticator code verification, and email OTP delivery and verification under a single API key, a single user ID, and a single billing account denominated in Indian rupees. This unified structure removes the need to integrate and maintain separate backends or third-party services for each authentication or notification function.

SignOps covers a broad range of authentication and notification use cases relevant to fintech, digital payments, e-commerce, mobile wallets, and any application requiring secure user authentication or reliable push notification delivery. Push notifications support Android, iOS, and web targets, with developers supplying their own Firebase and Apple keys. In-app login approvals combine biometric confirmation with number matching to produce a signed response returned to the server, providing resistance to phishing and SIM swap attacks. Passkey sign-in operates via device-bound methods including Face ID, fingerprint, and screen lock, with no per-sign-in cost. TOTP verification is compatible with Google Authenticator and includes backup code support. Email OTP is handled entirely via API in two calls (send and verify), dispatched from the developer's own domain.

SignOps offers a free tier covering 1,000 push devices, 100 approvals, 1,000 passkey sign-ins, and 500 email OTP codes per month, with no credit card required until free limits are exceeded. Billing in Indian rupees makes SignOps particularly accessible to development teams operating in the Indian market, though the platform's feature set applies broadly to any team seeking a consolidated authentication and push notification API.
