Smartilio is a cloud-native platform for organizations that deploy and operate fleets of mobile devices in retail and grocery, logistics, transportation and manufacturing. It is made of three modules that can be activated separately or together on the same platform.

SMARTILIO MDM

A single web console to initialize, configure and monitor hundreds or thousands of devices.

- Staging via QR code: a new device scans a code and receives its full configuration — WiFi, apps, kiosk mode, brightness, language, time zone, lock screen — in about five minutes, with no manual setup.

- Profiles assigned automatically based on the usage context, applied as Asset, Settings and Network profiles with per-profile status reporting.

- Remote Control: real-time interaction with a device, guiding the operator with arrows, lines and annotations.

- Kiosk mode and custom launchers: only authorized apps, on locked-down terminals.

- Incremental updates: only changed components are distributed, with no downtime.

- Monitoring: connected devices, applied profiles, disk usage, battery level and cycles, network and signal, scanning activity, GPS location, per site and per device.

- Custom KPI reports and proactive alerts, delivered at the frequency and in the format you choose.

SMARTILIO DISPENSING

Automated device distribution through smart lockers. Operators authenticate with a badge, tax code, loyalty card or NFC; the system assigns the right device based on battery level, usage history and the apps required for the role; every handover and return is traced by operator, shift, location and status.

SMARTILIO SHOP

Retail self scanning with Scan & Go. Shoppers scan products in store, see a digital cart with prices and promotions taken directly from the POS, and pay contactless with SmartilioPay NFC via card, smartphone or smartwatch. Queue busting and re-scan controls support fast checkout and sampling checks.

PLATFORM AND SECURITY

- Certified Android Enterprise EMM, with managed Google Play for enterprise app distribution.

- iOS support for iPhone and iPad: certificates, ABM automated and QR enrollment, Apple profiles, VPP licence monitoring and revocation. macOS coming.

- Hardware-independent: 200+ certified models from 13+ vendors, including Zebra, Datalogic, Honeywell, Urovo, Samsung, Apple, Sunmi, Lawdi, Denso Wave, Meferi, Point Mobile, Custom and Telpo. Any new brand can be certified on request.

- Native use of vendor tools: Zebra MX, Honeywell EZConfig, Datalogic Scan2Deploy, Samsung Knox.

- Architecture: MQTT and HTTPS between devices and server with mutual TLS, Apache Kafka queues for data persistence, hosted on Google Cloud Platform with Kubernetes, network, server and database continuously monitored.

- ISO 27001 certified and GDPR compliant. Role-based dashboard access, responsive on desktop, tablet and smartphone.

- REST API integration with POS, ERP and WMS systems, plus other data exchange formats and frequencies.
