Solid Takeoff is browser-based construction takeoff software that lets estimators, contractors and trades measure PDF drawings, photos and scans online, with no CAD and no installs. Measure lengths, areas and counts, group measurements into conditions with waste %, and export quantities as PDF or CSV takeoffs. AI scale detection reads the scale bar, a labelled dimension or the title-block ratio, shows a confidence level and waits for you to confirm. Teams can collaborate live on the same drawings, with version history. It runs in the browser on Windows, macOS, Chromebook and iPad, and you can try the editor without signing up. A free plan is available, with paid plans from $12.99 a month and no contracts.
