What is Switchbooks?
Switchbooks helps small businesses, bookkeepers, and accounting firms manage bookkeeping through a conversational AI interface. Users can review and categorize transactions, post entries, create journal entries, reconcile bank and credit card statements, and ask for financial reports. Payee rules and optional auto-posting support recurring transaction workflows.
Supported US bank and credit card accounts connect through Plaid. QuickBooks, CSV, and Excel imports help users bring existing records into Switchbooks. Reports include profit and loss, balance sheets, cash flow, and general ledgers. Accountants can manage multiple companies under one login and review combined company reporting.
The browser-based product connects to ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Grok Bot, and compatible MCP clients for supported bookkeeping actions. Pricing is $25 USD per company per month, with all features included. The 10-day free trial does not require a credit card.
