Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

Teams Recording-as-a-Service (TRAAS) overview
What is Teams Recording-as-a-Service (TRAAS)?
Teams Recording-as-a-Service (TRAAS) is a certified Microsoft Teams compliance recording engine delivered as a fully managed, cloud-native service. Designed for developers, integrators, and enterprise organizations in regulated industries, it captures Teams meetings and calls using Microsoft-certified compliance recording APIs, without joining meetings as a participant or relying on consumer-style bots. Recorded conversations are structured into clean, compliant, AI-ready data, with stereo audio captured at PCM 16,000 Hz to maximize transcript accuracy and downstream AI model output quality. Deployment takes 24 hours from contract to live, at an estimated annual cost starting at $30,000, compared to a 6-12 month internal build costing $500,000 or more.
The service eliminates the engineering, certification, and maintenance burden associated with building a compliant Teams recording infrastructure. Numonix holds and maintains Microsoft certification and Top Tier Partner status on behalf of customers, and handles all Teams platform updates automatically, keeping the recording pipeline live and compliant without requiring engineering resources on the customer side. Storage is flexible, supporting Azure BLOB, S3 buckets, or hosted and managed environments. Additional capabilities include API access for custom workflow development, granular recording rules (such as PSTN-only, meetings-only, specific call queues, or meeting subjects), PCI muting via a private bot environment, dynamic recording notification controls by group, and direct access to private bot metrics, logs, and real-time monitoring data.
Security and compliance are built into the architecture. Each call is encrypted with 256-bit AES using a unique key per call. The service is ISO 27001 certified and SOC 2 Type II accredited as a component of the IXCloud platform. Teams Recording-as-a-Service (TRAAS) supports compliance with GDPR, HIPAA, MiFID II, Dodd-Frank, PCI DSS, FERPA, FISMA, CCPA, and SEC 17A-4. Target industries include financial services, healthcare, government, education, contact centers, and AI and analytics software companies requiring a certified, policy-governed capture layer for conversation data.
