TIPPA - 2026 Pricing, Features, Reviews & Alternatives

TIPPA is a cloud-based waste management compliance platform built for UK waste industry operators, including transfer stations, waste carriers, skip hire businesses, and waste brokers and dealers. It centralises duty-of-care records, waste transfer notes, load photos, and online signatures in a single system, covering operations across England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland.

TIPPA handles load recording for receivers with weighbridge weights, accept, reject, and quarantine decisions, and pre-filled transfer note and receipt PDFs downloadable from any record. Carrier and broker registration checks run against all four UK public registers (EA, NRW, SEPA, and DAERA) on every save and nightly, flagging expired or revoked registrations without manual lookups. Automatic reporting of each received load to Defra's Digital Waste Tracking service is included at no additional charge on any plan, with a dashboard showing submission status, deadlines, and rejected load reasons. Rejected submissions are flagged with Defra's stated reason and retried automatically every hour during service outages, with email alerts to responsible staff when action is required. EWC codes, container types, and other reference codes are sourced directly from Defra's own lists.

TIPPA supports online producer signatures before or after collection, season ticket management with automated load creation, and customer permit, licence, and WEX number storage carried through to paperwork automatically. Optional add-ons extend functionality to include note uploads from PDFs or photos, round planning, repeated records automation, and reporting and data exports. Records are retained for legally required periods, protected against accidental deletion, and supported by a full edit-level audit history to assist regulatory inspections.
