Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

vewo overview
What is vewo?
vewo is a cloud-based, web-based video hosting and sharing platform designed for individuals, consumers, and teams who need fast, frictionless video distribution via link. Videos can be uploaded without an account and shared instantly via a short link that plays inline in any browser, with no watermark applied on any plan. Accepted formats include MP4, MOV, MKV, WebM, AVI, MPEG, 3GP, and FLV. Uploaded videos are transcoded into an adaptive HLS stream that adjusts to the viewer's connection, supporting source quality up to 4K.
Three access tiers are available: an anonymous upload tier (up to 1 GB per video, 720p, 7-day link retention), a free account tier (up to 5 GB per video, 1080p, 30-day links, 10 GB storage), and a Pro tier (up to 50 GB per video, 4K, 365-day links, 250 GB storage). Per-video visibility controls, available across all plans including free, allow videos to be set as public, link-only, or private. Link-only videos are served via an unguessable capability URL, are not embeddable, and return a 404 response without the correct token. Public videos play inline on major platforms including Discord, X, and Slack, making vewo well suited for sharing in messages, emails, and support tickets.
Anonymous uploads can be retroactively claimed into a registered account, preserving continuity for users who later choose to create one. No app installation is required at any tier, and no time-limited trial gates access to the free plan.
