Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

VidProc overview
What is VidProc?
VidProc is a browser-based media processing toolkit spanning video, audio, subtitles, images, and PDFs across 79 discrete tools. Most operations run entirely client-side, meaning files remain on the user's device with no upload required. Server-side processing is available for longer recordings, large files, HDR tone mapping, and batch runs under paid plans. The platform is compatible with current versions of Chrome, Safari, and Edge on desktop and mobile, and tools continue to function offline once the page has loaded. No account or payment card is required to start; video clips up to 20 seconds are processed free with no queue wait for local jobs.
VidProc's core offering is a frame-cleaning workbench for watermark and logo removal, featuring drag-to-resize region selection, per-region time-range control, real-time removal preview, reusable templates, and a REST API for automated batch jobs. Video capabilities extend to compression, trimming, format conversion (MP4, MOV, WebM, MKV), multi-camera sync editing, reframing, blur and mosaic, auto face redaction with motion tracking, picture-in-picture, beat cut, Ken Burns effect, green screen, perspective correction, freeze frame, a Shorts factory with AI-driven highlight detection, a compliance checker, a review studio with time-coded comments, a workflow studio pipeline, video scopes (waveform, vectorscope, RGB histogram), silence removal, speed and reverse controls, GIF creation, and a codec info extractor. Audio tools include an AI audio cleaner covering noise and reverb removal, voice enhancement, and loudness mastering, alongside a podcast post-production studio, vocal remover, EQ and compressor, audiogram maker, music ducker, loudness checker, and standard trim, join, speed, channel, and fade controls.
VidProc's subtitle suite covers automatic speech-to-SRT transcription, a subtitle editor, multilingual dubbing with AI-generated voice tracks, subtitle QA, format conversion (SRT, VTT, ASS), subtitle burning, an ASS editor, and a danmaku burner. Image tools include video-to-frames export, images-to-video, animated WebP and GIF conversion, video screenshot capture, a duplicate photo finder, a sprite sheet generator, and a manga translator. PDF tools cover merge, split, page organization, image-to-PDF and PDF-to-image conversion, watermarking, page numbering, compression, OCR, AES-256 security, and a PDF workflow builder. A bulk file rename utility with a rule pipeline and live preview rounds out the platform. VidProc targets individual creators, video editors, developers, and content teams across content creation, video production, podcasting, education, and media publishing.
