Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

DataPortia overview
What is DataPortia?
DataPortia is an industrial data acquisition and reporting software suite designed to integrate with OPC UA-compliant automation systems for real-time process monitoring, historical data analysis and local artificial intelligence analytics. The platform consolidates information from multiple programmable logic controllers and supervisory control and data acquisition systems into a centralized repository, eliminating manual workflows and delivering continuous visibility into process trends without dependence on cloud services. The web-based application is built on ASP NET Core version nine and deployed via a self-hosted Kestrel server, requiring no client-side installations and accessible through modern web browsers. This architecture supports compatibility with diverse industrial automation environments such as energy production and distribution, process industries, discrete manufacturing operations and building automation networks.
The solution comprises six core modules addressing comprehensive data management requirements. The real-time dashboard module features customizable widget grids with gauges, charts, value cards, bar charts and data tables that update continuously from connected servers. Interactive trend visualization offers zoomable, color-coded charts with pan controls, time-range configuration and preset saving for frequently monitored data tags. The reporting and export module generates aggregated outputs with minimum, maximum, average and total values and exports results to CSV or PDF formats on scheduled intervals. Local artificial intelligence analysis leverages integrated large-language models for anomaly detection, trend forecasting, cost optimization insights and natural-language querying, all processed on premises to maintain data privacy. Multi-connection data collection supports ten or more simultaneous OPC UA server connections with independent configurations, throughput exceeding two thousand values per second and automatic failover for redundancy. Security and management features include role-based access controls, integration with Azure Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID authentication, HTTPS encryption with auto-generated certificates, automated backups and detailed logging.
The database infrastructure relies on PostgreSQL eighteen with TimescaleDB extensions optimized for time-series storage, automatic data compression after a defined age and configurable retention policies with a default twenty-four-month period. OPC UA protocol communication is implemented using OPC Foundation .NET Standard libraries to ensure compliance with industrial interoperability standards and compatibility with equipment from manufacturers such as Siemens, ABB, Valmet, Beckhoff, Schneider Electric, Honeywell and Rockwell Automation. Visualization components utilize ECharts version five point six for chart rendering and DataTables for tabular presentations. The system supports deployment on Windows ten and eleven, Windows Server two thousand sixteen and later, as well as Linux distributions including Debian and Ubuntu, and operates without additional runtime dependencies.
The user interface provides multilingual support with Finnish and English language options and offers browser-based configuration for data tags using organizational blocks, categories and multilingual comment fields. System requirements specify a minimum of eight gigabytes of memory with sixteen to thirty-two gigabytes recommended for production scenarios and a solid-state drive with at least one hundred gigabytes of storage for optimal performance. Administrative functions include user role assignment, tag configuration, schedule management and backup operations accessible through the web console.
