You can make using Analytics easier and more regular by connecting to Google Data Studio.
Properly installed, it is a reliable and versatile website analytics tool that offers even more features than competing products. Google Analytics should be installed if you plan to develop websites, because unless you have an accurate understanding of your visitors and functional content, you will not be able to target your development resources correctly.
If you want something more than just the number of visitors to different pages, you need to spend a reasonable amount of time studying the program.

Great
How all google products integrate with google analytics, where i can use tags manager, data studio and firebase to combine my data and view them
Extremely hard UI/UX unless you have been using it for years, plus you need to pass all courses to have a correct setup. Also one page websites are super hard to track correctly.

Excellent analytical software for your online business.
Google analytics provides you with a set of tools, reports and data to thorougly analyse sources of your web site visitors, their behaviour on the website, conversion path and much much more.
I really really really don't like that this software comes without google online support. and you need to have Google Data Studio which costs really alot.

I started with AWSTATS and web logs so I was elated when Google Analytics came out. It offered so much more data. But it can also be like a firehose so you need to define what's important and what needs action.
I like the integration between the Google products. You can pull from Google Search console into Google Analytics and then use data from both sources to do reports in Google Data Studio. And you can feed events in with Google Tag Manager.
The onboarding and setup process needs to be simpler. It's too easy for novices to make mistakes especially if they want small websites to use it. While I think GA4 is much better, I think it will cause problems for new webmasters. I would have new people run both in parallel as GA4 is improving rapidly, but is not well documented.

Simple and all the basic website traffic analytics you could ask for from a free product.
It tracks so much info about website traffic. If you have a website, analytics are a necessity and Google Analytics (aka GA) is the best place to start.
Not very customizable natively, but it's free. However, when used in Google Data Studio it can be amazing as you can customize the data all you want. Damn near perfection.

We use the tool to measure the website traffic numbers and analyse the effectiveness of advertising campaigns.
Lots of ways to dissect and analyse your web traffic. Great segmentation and measurement capabilities. Easy to integrate with other Google products such as Google Ads, Google Data Studio, etc.
On a free version it's hard to analyse longer time periods due to sampling if you have a high traffic website. The pro version is aimed and enterprise clients and is not affordable for most startups. You do not own the data.

Overall, you can't beat free, but I assume paid tools may be more effective.
You can't beat Google Analytics for a free tool to track metrics and create data studios for customers.
The more advanced features of Google Analytics are difficult to use and require custom engineering work. Google Data Studio is functional but could be a lot prettier and easier to use.

Google Analytics lets anyone be a data analyst for their website. I also like the ability to integrate a high volume of data re: website traffic to easy-to-use integrations like different visualization softwares (i.e. Google Data Studio or Tableau).
Exit rate is a very confusing metric. I've never been able to track down exactly what it means and I don't find it straightforward to understand. That's why I always default to using bounce rate, which isn't always the metric that's needed. Also, being able to analyze the user journey by page because of the confusion with first page and second page.

We're using Google Analytics to track all analytics-related components of our apps and websites. We're probably going to keep using it in the near future.
Integrating Google Analytics with apps/websites is incredibly easy: it often takes just one or two lines of code, and it's always been seamless for me.
Creating reports/dashboards is still in beta (Google Data Studio connection) and could use some improvement. It's not as easy to visualize complex data streams as it is with other products (i.e. Mixpanel)

- Fell in love with analytics due to Google analytics. - Really like using native integrations like GTM & Data studio. - Learning never stops as there is a world of possibilities with Google Analytics.
- Integration with other marketing platforms - tech stacks. - Provides in-depth analysis and allows/aligns with any custom marketing strategy. - It allows for optimizations at the campaign/ ad group/ keyword and creative level. - tagging & tracking functionality
- Integration to firebase and app tracking is currently taking place. Could be a complicated implementation in some circumstances. - GA360 is a better product for bigger organizations but costs more. - Difficult to understand the complex features as a new user but should be fine otherwise.

We use analytics to get a lot information about how do we acquire traffic, and make reports to our clients using Google Data Studio
I’ve been using google analytics to track visitor on different websites I have worked with, analytics let you know a bunch of information regarding how you acquire traffic and how visitors behave while browsing, using that information I can improve my websites and get higher conversion rates. A nice new feature is called attribution analytics, and let you know how visitors interact with your site before making a conversion.
For beginners, it’s kind of complicated to understand, because there’s a lot of data and you might get confused if you don’t have all of the understanding of what it meas and what you could do with it. Once you get familiar with the software, it helps you a lot

Google Analytics has been my go-to for data for years. Setting up filters and reports is easy - once you learn all of the terms. I love how they've been improving their Insights section and providing direct access to learnings from there. And, their Chrome extension is the best tool for a quick snapshot of page performance.
There's are some areas within it that are not always the easiest to access, or know off the bat what data types they feature. Also, you really do have to learn how different features are termed to get the most out of it. Also, defining and setting up goals can sometimes be tricky. For that reason, I started working in Google Data Studio in conjunction with Google Analytics. I find that one you have a solid Google Analytics setup, it's much faster and easier to view the data from different angles in Data Studio.

It's great to measure your site performance, and you can link it easily to Data Studio and other Google (or non-Google) tools that give you a deeper insight of your audience.
It gives you great and deep insights about the performance of a website and you can link it to multiple tools to understand your audience/customers better.
UA was amazing, why change it to GA4? Or if you're going to do that, make it easier to export the custom reports to this new UI. It forces you to create two properties to have the best of both worlds and that is pretty annoying.

It's great, most of the services my business provides to customers depends on the data available in this tool, so it helps me a lot.
Every single business should use Google Analytics to understand its customers. The tool provide tracking that allows you to know your customers' behaviours in your website. It's critical to drive growth!
The integration with Google Data Studio is still poor. If it could be more friendly, it will help users/admins to use it instead of another BI tools.

I have always thought of GA coming in second to Adobe, but the Salesforce integration has brought them much closer together, allowing the insights gained in the analytics to be acted upon in the experience platforms.
The growth of integrations has been one the best aspects of Google Analytics - Tag Manager, Optimize, Data Studio, and most recently with Salesforce allows for not only advanced data capture, but usage as well. This means that you can gain insights and act upon them much faster.
Data sampling is still an issue, but data studio integrations are helping to relieve that problem.

We tracked app and website data with Google Analytics and were almost always able to easily track, gather and use the found data.
Google Analytics has everything you need and if combined with Google data studio even more so. Google is #1 when it comes to integration with other programs and also when it comes to ease of use for analytics.
There really isn't much. The only thing I can think of, and maybe I just didn't look enough, is that I wish there was a way to add more customized functionality/reports.

We're satisfied with Google Analytics and all the data it brings us within clicks. We love it that it has real time tracking as well! we love paring it with Google Data Studio for client presentation or team meeting! Awesome product and is a ease to use!
It tracked and analyzed most of the information and data we needed for our websites (which are all used for different purposes: media outlets, ecommerce...) It's super useful for us to learn our audience and their behavior and from their we could increase our traffic, we even linked and used some small trick to get it analyze all different sources our traffics are coming from. It's especially helpful for our ecommerce store when we could track which products customers are spending time the most on before buying in order to improve our marketing and thus increase our sales and profits. 100% recommend!
It would be cool if there's a feature to group the websites to one dashboard and compare their performance. We have a very long list of websites on our GA account and that to see one by one is pretty time consuming, especially ones in the same service industry. But that's only a tiny complain compare to a huge benefit it brings us!

We have been able to measure everything on our website and our clients' websites. This data has allowed us to improve our marketing efforts and drive more revenue.
Google Analytics is easy to set up, has incredible documentation, and allows you to track just about everything you could possibly need. The reporting options are solid and have been greatly enhanced by Google Data Studio.
While the reporting is good, it's not as visually appealing or easy to read as Adobe Analytics. This is especially true of the event reporting. Additionally, the pathing reports are pretty limited compared to what you get from Adobe Analytics.

Overall, it's a great product. Hey it's free! I noticed there is a paid version, but who uses that?
We use this to collect user data on our website, and we have various integrations with LiveSession, Google Data Studio, Tag Manager etc. together to combine great reports to assist us in understanding our clients and prospects.
Really hard to use. It's interface and its ability to output more useful reports is almost impossible. At last, our GA events need to be shot over to Google Data Studio for analysis and output of more user-friendly tables.

I like that this software offers important tools for both small businesses and multi-staffed companies, offers unsampled reports and data-driven attribution, helps you to improvisación your website and you can create customized marketing lists.
The platform is a bit slow when linking data and sharing it with the client, sometimes it gives an error and you have to go through the whole process again.

We implement Google Analytics for all of our existing clients and use it as their primary source of truth for analyzing website stats.
Google Analytics is just the new industry standard for web analytics tracking. Its ease of use, flexibility, and the fact that it's free make it an obvious choice for your company's web analytics.
Analyzing data in Google Analytics is an absolute bear. You can only analyze data with two dimensions in tables and have to use Segments to get any deeper – but even then, you can get restricted to small date range windows. You essentially have to outsource data analysis to Google Sheets & Data Studio, and having slightly more abilities in the platform would be really helpful.

I love Google Analytics. It was very easy to implement on the product I work on, and it's been instrumental in tracking success. Combined with Google Tag Manager, I can track everything I need without needing to rely on engineering to hard code tracking.
I don't have any issues. I wish the free version supported more advanced funnel features, but I'm still able to get by fine without it.

From using it to show google analytics reports to use it to show even cashflow scenarios.
Datastudio is an incredibly powerful data analytics tool. It's so much more than just a tool for Google Analytics dashboards: it allows you to quickly create stunning visualizations, set up automated reports and monitor key performance indicators in real-time when connected with simple data sources as google sheets. If I need to analyze complex datasets and share meaningful insights quickly, I use it.
When it comes to create particular data cards, it is handy to use pre-calculated values. Wich can be tricky!

Absolutely amazing. It's like I have landed on Mars! I have discovered so many cool features and things I could offer my client "at a cost", for "no cost on me".
This software can link up with your Google Analytics account and retrieve data from there. So instead of using the slopping reporting function inside Google Analytics, you can make use of the power offered by Google Data Studio. It can make simple, but sophisticated table-based data using columns (or calculated columns), to present your data in many ways. OR, you can choose to use one of the many...
User identifyiable information cannot be reported when linking up with Google Analytics. This includes things like email address.

I wanted to be able to get a better view of how well content is performing.
Being able to combine data from several tools, such as Google Search Console and Google Analytics, is super useful for analysing content performance.
The software is a massive pain in the bum to use. Sure you can connect your data sources. And you can get data from those sources onto a single page/dashboard. But there’s no guarantee it’ll accurately display the data and combine it correctly. I gave up using GDS because the combined data was always wrong and it was incredibly difficult to actually get it to combine the data in a useful way. I switched to a paid tool that does it soo much better and far more easily!

This is a Google software, meaning that it connects very well with other Google softwares such as Google Analytics or Google Ads. So, if you are using all these for your business, it is a great way not to get lost with the tools you are using. Google Analytics and Google Ads are great at showing results, but with the addition of Google Data Studio, you can have a powerful vision of your KPI completion in one click, saving you a great time.
the connection between other Google tools is, however, not generous. Most of the time in your business, with your own KPI, you will find yourself defining your own parameters in Google Analytics. Those customs parameters cannot be extracted to Google Data Studio at the time this review is written. You can only access to the default Google Analytics parameters, which can be very frustrating when trying to create valuable dashboards.
