It's a great mid-tier editor, which doesn't soak you for hundreds of dollars while still providing great features.

I absolute love this software and will sing it from the rooftops. I started editing as a side part of my graphic design business and have used many different affordable programs. The other ones were super frustrating to find the features much less how to use them. They were stiff and hard to use as a beginner and weren't really affordable in the long run that I actually considered not including video editing in my services. AVS has saved me from spending so much wasted time and money plus it's so much fun to use, I now look forward to working on the videos!!!

Qualified video editing software 

I have enjoyed being able to make my recorded product better than it was recorded using such options as transitions and video effects. These are great additions to any video.

Best-Easy to use Video Editing Product

I have used this software to create DVDs of video taken at piano recitals. Piano students have recitals twice a year. I video each student as they play and create a DVD that combines all performances. The DVD is then distributed to parents. The ability to use transition effects and a disc menu are important in this application. I also use it for home video projects such as graduations, family gatherings and vacation videos.

Great Value for Home or Small Business Use

I commonly use AVS Video Editor and Video Converter to import videos, snip off pieces of the video that don't work and merge with another video to create a seamless and custom how-to video demo for my clients.  I also use it frequently to convert videos to another format so that it can be used on various social media and website platforms.  I've also used the video converter to compress or reduce the file size of a video.

High end multi features for low end price

It really does a game changer for Video Editing since some of my video editor don't have those features, those what I like somehow give an advantage to me as a tutor because I always record myself in the camera and edit the video and present it to my students, or give the video to my student so that when they forget something they can rewatch my video anytime. I don't need to use any software that makes my PC lag because of too many tabs. it is very convenient to use, and all are easy to used.

I am able to edit several hundred video short clips (5 to 10 minutes in length) and after easily editing them I can then put them in a chronological order for my upcoming DVD.

Why I like AVS Video Editor!

This is an amazing product for the money.  It is simple to use and doesn't have too many crazy add-ons that most people don't use anyway. 

Great Features for a Low Price 

The time problem is a serious one and could cause a problem when I testify in court. I have tried repeatedly to contact the company for help in resolving this issue, along with the time zone, but you can virtually never get a person to respond. If they would fix these two issues, the program would be perfect. 

Would be perfect except for serious issues

I teach  seminars for international studies and record them as I go.  This AVS4You Video Editing software enabes me to both correct problems in recordings and make them easily accessable to all my students and participants on tours.  Additionally I can use parts of them on my internet site for promotional and educational purposes.

I have installed the AVS on every computer I have used for over 10 years. I has been a great asset and I will continue to buy a license for any new devices I receive.

I've been using it for 11 years now.  Love it except for the program bombing out every now and then with big projects.

Only editor that can edit .MOV files if you are running windows.

                                                       I use AVS for you in a variety of ways. I have multiple clients who have lots of different videos in different formats, and my charge is always to try to combine or convert these various videos into one video.
                                                       What I like most about AVS is that it handles all of the formats that you need, particularly old ones like flash, which you hardly see anymore, but I have clients who have a lot of flash files. So this is a perfect editing system for me.
                                                       If there's any room for improvement, I would like to see AVS for you have a one-time purchase fee. I don't particularly like the subscription format, but I do love the program and I will continue to use it.

                                                       In the past, before selecting AVS Video Editor, I had a number of years where I was using Pinnacle through a number of migrated different versions. The continuation of cost increases, and continued need to piecemeal the software into different modules adding more expense overall to the product, led me to spend some time in researching other products that were out there on the marketplace.
                                                       I chose the AVS Video Editor simply because it was very intuitive. I love the costs and its structure overall. Features like scene transitions, multiple editing lines for audio and video, and the capacity to save in all the popular formats today for video, led me to a very easy decision with AVS Video Editor.
                                                       Integrating AVS Video Editor was a very simple process. It's extremely easy to pick up with hints and tips that it offers internally within the program. It's similar to other products that I had used before, so setting up the different scenes, importing the video materials and things of this nature, was very easy to pick up with the tools provided within the software. And I love the fact that it was as easy to make the transition without complications of a lot of new bells and whistles that were out there.
                                                       With so many companies requiring annual license renewals in this particular field of video editing, I love the fact that I have been able to get a permanent license to the AVS Video Editor and all of the future updates that may be coming down the road from the company as they become available. This keeps me informed of the latest changes and using those changes to improve the product without additional revenue investments on the part of my company.
