It fills our needs for a secure, easy-to-use platform for board and leadership meeting information, as well as a cloud-based back-up for emergency procedures, and the search functionality has made it much simpler to find previous reports quickly.

The calendar is nice where you can see what meetings are coming up and I as the coordinator appreciate the RSVP button and the Teams link option as our board members sometimes have to join via Teams.

They have rolled out functionality that does not work and no one in support even knows about it or how to make it work and then tell you it is not actually included in your package as an excuse for that.

I am the BoardEffect Administrator for MyMichigan Health and am able to manage all workrooms and assist users with ease.

When you link to a library doc within a meeting packet, it pulls the whole doc into the packet rather than actually functioning as a link.

I feel like I'm working in two different products when navigating between building board books, managing accesses and creating meeting minutes.

It has been so easy to onboard our new Board members that we even have their training on BoardEffect and have started to utilize it for all sorts of Board members resources.

For example, it does not allow you to open a document, edit it, and autosave it.

I also enjoy the attendance feature to track who is present for meetings and who is not

The transfer to Diligent Boards - this was an automatic move from Diligent as it no longer supported its historic platforms (BoardPacks etc).

I've raised this issue with the BE/Diligent team and have had an active ticket open for a month and a half.  

BoardEffect is a great communication tool to use among all different industries and different aspects of the industry whether it's internal or external.

There are some quirks with BoardEffect that I'm still getting used to and I'm continuing to work with it to better integrate it into our processes.

I enjoy the ease of use and the way the documentation streamlines my workflow.

I like that it consolidates many disparate functions into a one-stop shop portal.

I wish there were fewer steps to navigate between pages and sections of a board meeting book.

I love being able to add links in the library and not just documents.

Once Diligent took over, it has become an absolute nightmare to get support or CSM help.

I liked BoardEffect a lot more before it transitioned to being fully led by Diligent.  

The tool is something we inherited but we believe it could use some updates.

It allows for the centralization of documents.

I also wish the library in a particular work room was in sequential order from top to bottom and not bottom to top.

There are hidden menus for some of the options I would have liked to have set up during the initial use.

It has saved us a TON of paper, and has the functionalities we desired.
