My experience with Camtasia has been satisfactory, it was the first video editor I used and it never let me down. Many other programs are better for video editing, but none will be as easy as Camtasia, plus it doesn't take much time to learn and you don't need to have high specs on your PC to use it. It is a highly recommended video editor.
Camtasia is a good video editor and a great screen and audio capturer, it does what you ask and what you need, and the tools it gives you to work on a video are just and necessary, but very well worked. The screenshot is good, it doesn't need a lot of space and you have different qualities to choose from. It is a very easy-to-use program, with a fairly simple interface; is the video editor that I would recommend if you want to start editing videos.
It doesn't have many professional tools like animation handling, also the image and audio tools are very limited. The Mac version does not work well as many tools are not compatible or adapted differently from the Windows version.

Camtasia is very fast and good video editing and system screen recorder software which you will get both when you bought it. Editor can share edited video directly to YouTube and other social media platform.
software is very light and you can run this software on 4GB RAM is well. Buyer get video editor and screen recorder in one package which is very good for new editor and youtubers.
There is limitations of Text templates there is no professional transitions for videos and images. there is no lower third templates.

Camtasia makes it possible to produce really good videos with few simple steps and with just little knowledge, anyone can be a video editor.
Camtasia is a killer product of its' category and can say that it stands on the top. Screen recording is the most commonly used feature and with its built in video editor, it is effortless to produce a good quality video based on different requirements and platforms.
Sometimes audio in recording gives me an echo which seems to be like the audio is being recorded from 2 inputs. Still it gets me what I want. Other than that it works perfectly. May be the prices can be reduced a little.

I like Camtasia to edit and create simple videos focused on brands and students because it allows us to create interesting and didactic audiovisuals, this video editor fulfills that function very well, but when developing a major production project, I would not even bother to open this software, because I know previously it will not help me. The price is very affordable and I highly recommend this video editor if you want to create school projects or aimed at a work group, from there on out it would not be the best option. The price is very affordable and I highly recommend this video editor if you want to create school projects or aimed at a work group, from there on out it would not be the best option.
Camtasia is a really simple video editor, I like how it works, I like what it can do, but above all, I like that it leaves you to create videos in such simple and easy ways, Camtasia seems to be focused on the beginner user, or the one who wants to do simple and good quality videos. In my opinion, this is a very good first video editor for those who want to enter the world of post-production and audiovisual development, its price is accessible and that is exactly what makes this my first suggestion to any beginner.
Camtasia is very simple, the features that make it an excellent video editor make it a software that doesn't meet the needs of all the projects we may have in mind, not to mention the post-production of some long footage, we couldn't get something elaborate with the native resources of this video editor. If you're an intermediate or advanced experienced editor, I wouldn't recommend this software, as it will probably just stop your workflow and won't meet your needs.

My experience has been very positive. I’ve edited hours of videos in Camtasia and it’s been a very enjoyable experience.
Chopping up video clips and making professional videos is really easy. Plus the screen recorder is fantastic.
Nothing so far, Camtasia is really good. I’ve used Premier Pro, Final Cut Pro, and Sony Vegas Pro, and it’s safe to say Camtasia is my favorite of them all.

Good functionality for easy screen recording and basic video editing plus access to some free downloadable template assets.
Annual upgrades are not that impressive and seem to not come with easy to understand tutorials from the developers. Responsiveness to user feedback for improved functionality is not top tier.

You are not going to create a blockbuster movie on Camtasia - that's not what it is designed for, but you will find it an easy to use video recorder and editor for tutorials, lessons, etc., with tools geared towards that.
For us, it is mainly used to create video tutorials. Sometimes text and images are not enough, and that is when Camtasia comes in. With easy to use recording and editing tools, you can easily create professional-looking videos. Even though it is a basic video recorder and editor, their are lots of features included, such as annotations, effects, cursor effects and transitions. With Camtasia, you can spend less time on post production.
Not really a con, but you may find yourself wanting to get onto a maintenance subscription to keep the software always up-to-date. It is not that expensive to do so.

Great! I've used Camtasia in few of my straightforward video editing projects with a client. It's pretty sleek and clean to use. Highly recommended for video learning and vloggers.
- Camtasia is more cleaner and more seamless than any other simple video editing software. Though, again, this is not for pro and die-hard video editor.- Simple to use with dedicated learning modules. So, easy to learn.- Capture audio/video and add up voice-over - all-in-one with Camtasia.- Highly recommended for UX Designer during usability testing. This can record screen and audio output/input from test subjects.- YouTube upload is seamless as well.
- More often video output are large. And if you lower the size, the quality suffers. I hope Camtasia has fixed or improve on this one.- If you buy this. Though you can have a perpetual ownership of the software - the update maybe not. Currently, it's like $50 per year for the support and updates.- Not for Pro users who are fond of exceptional effects and motion graphics.- You need separate audio mixer and editor for this one. No inbound audio editor and filter.

It was good experience to work with this app. But I could not use it free forever.
It can be used to edit almost any type of video. The wide range of functionality and easy interface made the apps one of the leading video editing applications. I have used the trial version because I am not a professional video editor. But it has amazing transaction effects, tremendous pre-installed effect, royalty-free music, a lot of intro videos, and so on. It is the best option for a beginner user too.
It is not free apps. One need buy its license which is expensive. But as the developer is developing the apps regularly they need a paycheck. So if anybody wants to be a pro video editor as an amateur I can recommend this app to start with.

like that it has templates you can use already to make the videos look uniform.
I'm not a big fan of screen recorders but when I was using Camtasia, I was really impressed by how easy it was to use. I just had to press a hotkey and it would start recording my screen and I would be able to add video and audio over it. It's also really easy to change the video format, add text and effects. If you need a good video editor, I highly recommend Camtasia.
The price is a bit expensive but it is an excellent software.

Camtasia is an excellent simple video editing program. Easy and lightweight to use. It exports the videos very quickly. Highly recommend!
Camtasia is an excellent video editor. Simple and easy to use. It has very useful features that some more professional programs don't have. Like for example models of animated arrows or the feature to zoom in on editing in a simplified way.
Camtasia could have the function of joining the parts of the video after cutting or also a function of inserting automatic subtitles.

Recording and editing videos.
Solid interface with a lot of options, including video effects. Allows me to do plenty of mix and match with bits and pieces of videos. Screen recording and video exporting. Excellent Youtube ready export option that saves time. It has customer support and it is updated every year, which is a huge plus.
I wish it didn't require so much of my PC resources. Other software that I use for video making/editing use less PC power, so I get things done faster. It can also be a bit cumbersome to learn and understand all the functionalities. But I always think that it's best to have it either as a backup (if you use Premiere Pro for instance) or as a main, with other software (like NCH Video Pad) for the quick tasks of cutting and basic editing.

If I wasn't doing weekly work with video editing, I'm not sure the cost of this would be worth it. Because I am using it several times a week, it has been worth the price. I have seen and used some cheaper options like Movavi, but I end up coming back to Camtasia. With the added MP3 and media available, I find it great to use and I'll keep paying for it as long as I'm needing to edit videos. I work primarily off my laptop and Camtasia is just what I need.
I like how easy it is to enhance and existing video, as well as how easy it is to separate audio and video when I want to make an MP3 out of an old video.
I wish there were better features for enhancing old, SD video as well as audio enhancements that kept me from having to use something like audacity.

Overall if you want a software that can do it all from screen capturing, video and audio Camtasia has you covered, it is easy to use and offered professional editing tools that most screen recorders don’t offer.
Camtasia is a great video editor and as a beginner at the time it was easy for me to learn how to use, it has a great community that makes it easy to get videos and tutorials on how to use certain features making it easy to learn and use.
Camtasia focuses more on the video editing and ignores the screen recording aspect in the process, the addition of too many unused features in my opinion also makes the program resource hungry and my older computers cannot run it effectively.

I believe it's a must-have if you are looking into a reliable software to capture your screen. It has some great features to minimize the post-editing, meaning you can use it to simplify your work when creating a series of training videos.
It's very easy to use and it helps you configure to your needs through assistant wizards. The result is very good, it does a nice compression on the files. The editing features are surprisingly good for a software to capture your screen and allows to create interactive and really great videos with some work.
As an editor, it might be too simple to do more advanced and customized things.

I am satisfied with screen recording, video making and video editing feature.
It's easy to use and learn for beginner who don't know how to screen record. You can also edit the video with the help of camtasia.
For video editing purpose, It has less effect and i wish camtasia add more effect but overall i am satisfied.

It is a software that should be used if you are interested in editing videos without complicating yourself. It can be very good to start making professional videos although my friends who are dedicated to editing do not like it. For me I am not a professional editor but if I need to edit to make video courses it is ideal.
I chose this product, as it seemed the easiest option to use while still having very professional features. One of these features is that it allows you to separate the sound from the images and be able to work it independently. It also has a very useful noise reducer. And a bank of free videos and sounds that make intros and outros very easy. Integration with PowerPoint is fantastic.
It can get very slow if you don't have enough RAM.

I use Camtasia to record and create professional training video for my courses, webinars, and for post-production recorded Zoom live session. It’s very easy to create another similar video, using templates, video placeholders or simply copy-paste an existing project and replace existing media with a new one. It is less feature-rich than Adobe Premiere, but you can’t beat its simplicity. Also, TechSmith delivers amazing support tutorials to help you learn how to use the platform.
Camtasia is very easy to use and has enough features to make your video looks professional. Has templates and video placeholders that are very useful when you create similar videos. It has quite a few video effects. It has auto sound normalizer and noise reduction (is not perfect, but it helps). Camtasia comes with a Screen Recorder that is integrated with the editor. After recording, you have...
Sometimes I need to be exact when cutting and splicing a video or audio and I miss one or two steps of zooming-out the media. The software was freezing on a laptop without a graphics card (rarely). Camtasia doesn’t have the possibility to change the editing speed. But I managed to do it using a workaround: changing the media speed and before exporting don’t forget to change it back to normal. For a long video, rendering takes a lot. Audio processing is a bit limited (for more control you should use another tool like Audacity) If you hear that Camtasia can import PowerPoint slides, don’t be too enthusiast about that, it will import them as photos only. Doesn’t import/replicate any effect or text.

I use Camtasia for my camera video editing. I cut unused thing, add some title and customise the sound. sometimes I edit my whiteboard video with this, and I sell those video to my buyer.
Camtasia is a video editing and creating software. I used this software overall in 3 years. This is a really helpful software for simple editing work. The feature of this software are very easy to use. So, I recommended my all friend and colleague to use this software. There are some easy tools and option, anyone can learn about this software in one or tow day. The rendering file of this software is small but the video quality is very good. that's why it's my favourite software.
There are no special effect and fx tools. after saving the video file, that folder contains too many files.and also one thing is, you can't make any high quality petty or slide video with this.

I was lucky enough to get this on sale with a great discount, so it made buying it a no brainer. I really needed the video enhancement features of this, especially when dealing with out of color, SD videos from the past.
I have used this software to revive very old SD video where the color was bad, somewhat grainy, or cloudy looking and have been able to pull off nice video in the end. I usually clean up a video visually in Movavi and finish my work in Camtasia
I was not a quick learner on this software, and I found it a bit difficult to get going initially. Once I figured it out, I can quickly enhance a video I want to edit.
