My overall experience with Diligent Boards has (and continues to be) excellent, both in terms of using the software and dealing with the customer service teams.
From an administrator's point of view, quick and easy to collate, distribute and maintain. Storage of and access to material is also simple, along with allocation of permissions and access. Training and customer service / support is available 24/7 and is prompt, useful and reliable. The mobile phone app is also really handy for managing books on the go.
Some of the features in the legacy desktop app "one click" are a bit clunky, however with the development of the web app, this is becoming a non-issue.

It is very useful, it has a lot of functionalities that currently the Board members don't use but I guess with time we'll start to incorporate them. The way the books are shown is very friendly, the minutes feature is really easy to use, and the new intergration with Teams will be very useful for our Company.
Overall is easy to use, all the members of the Board are used to work with it and have been since the beggining.

Board portals are only useful if your directors and senior officers will use them. If they are not easy to navigate and lacking features, then most likely your directors and senior officers are going to continue to rely on paper copies. With Diligent, the majority of our directors and officers quickly requested not to be given printed versions of the board books. Having access to the book on an iPad or tablet allowed them to easily access board materials wherever and whenever they wished. The customer support is available 24/7/365 and is staffed by knowledgeable, friendly teams who can quickly assist the user at all levels.
Easy to use - very intuitive interface for administrators.

We have message boards and can have live meetings with this software.
I have only used this software a couple of times for meetings with members of my church, but it has been great to be able to conduct live meetings without being in the same place.
There has not really been anything about this software that I have had any issues with so far. It has been good.

Moving to Office 365, we needed a solution to replace Slack. Teams provided a similar layout and functionality, but it is also integrated with the other Microsoft Suite of tools which makes for great project management workflows
The "planner" add-in doesn't let you see all of your boards, only tasks that are assigned to you. If it showed entire boards, teams could be a one-stop-shop for our organization.

In this new COVID ERA microsoft teams has helped our company maintain some normalcy. Instead of going to an office to talk to someone, we do it via teams.
I love that this software acts like a chatroom. you can have discussions with co-workers, meetings, or bulletin boards.
What I hate the least about this software is that you need a few minutes to play around and know what each button does.

Teams is great for, not suprisingly, communicating between teams. It has a full suite of features besides chats, including meetings, white boards, shared calendars, and all sorts of other add-ons
The price, which essentially comes with our enterprise O365 subscription for free, makes deploying Teams across your organization a no-brainer. While there was definitely a few years there where Teams struggled in terms of performance and features, its recently come into its own, with a robust feature set that rivals Slack. Especially like the meetings features, which are fast and easy to set up and have excellent voice and video quality.
The teams PC app is a memory hog, though this can be solved by using the web version. Also dislike how it keeps you within the app nearly all the time.. you need to switch between meetings, chats, spreadsheets-within-teams rather than being able to open them in their own pop up windows

Its been great to use teams to stay in touch, share information and hold meetings during this social distance era. In our organization it allowed us to hold a meeting in which over 100 people joined and we shared screen, there were at least 6 presenters and it all wen great!
Ability to hold large meetings (+100 people) and not having audio issues, frozen screen, echo or anything. Funcionallity , from boards, chat video calls, attach documents.
Is not that intuitive. As first time user is been a challenge to move across boards and groups vs other programs that are a little more user friendly and intuitive to discover and use functionalities.

Microsoft teams helps my team address issues that are company wide so we can be aware of them and correct them.
I like that you can have specific discussion boards within your teams. The lay out is well done and it often makes the day more enjoyable.
The thing I liked the least about this software is I have had trouble with accessing it on multiple desktops though the app specifically.

We use it for messaging, group chats, and hosting web meetings.
It performs pretty much any communication task you can think of. You can message people, create group chats, host web meetings, and create various boards for sharing information.
I don't have any complaints yet. The mobile and desktop application have good user interfaces and are simple to use.

If only we could move entirely from email to collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams!
Microsoft Teams is like reinventing email for the 21st century, combining the best features of social media—chat, boards, posts, threads, file sharing, etc.—in an office environment.
The product still seems to be in development and there are often kinks that need to be worked out, especially as more and more people have suddenly started using collaboration tools for remote work.

There is a lot you can do in one platform here: polls, message boards, chats, file sharing, etc. It is nice to have one home for so much of our communication.
The interface is not very easy to use and can be overwhelming, there are so many buttons and options in every part of the interface.

I like that it's already part of Office365. If you prefer to have all your tools within Microsoft Office, it will give you some form of safety that the security that you put up is also applicable in this tool. While there are other tools that are better than Microsoft Teams, the added value it has is that it's part of a bigger, integrated Office 365 product line.
If you are using a laptop with a small screen, it will frustrate you, because Microsoft Teams doesn't look good on small screens. It doesn't look as good as the other available Kanban boards.

I love how much you can add to Teams -- Planner, Notes, Whiteboarding, countless other apps. My team has been using it for both our team priorities as well as individual mini-project boards.
It's still in its infancy in terms of interface and ease of use. I expect a lot more customization than I have currently.

My experience with Teams has been very positive and most of my team prefers to use it over Skype for business as it allows them to communicate more creatively via GIFs and a more extensive emoji collection. Most importantly it helps consolidate our productivity platforms and lets several types of work live in the same place. This is crucial in today's noisy workplace where dozens of big productivity applications are dividing the attention of employees.
I love the functionality of Microsoft teams, especially being able to create collaborative files and boards. This helps consolidate a lot of projects and process work and prevents my team from spreading themselves too thin across several productivity solutions.
I find the platform to be slightly slower than Skype for business but Skype is my company's main communication channel so I may just need more experience with direct messaging in teams.

The overall experience using Microsoft teams is very good, and I'm sure that with the continuous improvements, Microsoft is continuously addressing the user's feedback to include new features in the application, making it a good choice for remote collaborators.
Microsoft Teams comes with built in and integrated features, like the white boards and other interesting tools and functions for the users. Its integration with Outlook calendar especially for work profiles male the online meetings completely embedded in the core business.
Some difficulties are sometimes found when you want to share the online meeting link with someone over social media IM or chat, the copied link is too long and in most situations I had to resend the link by e-mail to the inivited person, which requires more time.

Excellent platform to collaborate and sty connected in this virtual work environment
MS teams is easy to use and boosts productivity with features to stay connected, brainstorm (using white boards and breakout rooms) and organize meetings. There are a lot of different integrations available that allows teams to host polls, anaytics, dashboards, etc.
)MS teams does not allow a channel to be recategorized (switching from public to private and vice versa). This is really inconveniencing in a few situations

I was not expecting Teams to be a good program because I am generally not impressed with Microsoft products but I was pleasantly surprised. The organized and collaboration was great!
I started using this software with a new client and I love how you can chat, post on boards, store and work together on files, and stay organized by groups or by projects. It also ties into email and other programs.
Teams integrates with OneDrive but the integration can be confusing when you want to know where your files are stored. Are they stored in your Teams folder or on Onedrive? Also sharing files gives you two options for links and it can be confusing.

I was using Skype until we switched to Microsoft Teams, the change has been better after a few days of driving. It has more functions and utilities.
At first it is something hard to use and learn, but once you do it you discover great features. It has integration with other tools, you can share and create different sections. Share screen, videoconference, kanban boards, wiki .... all integrated.
They have to improve the performance of the application and the speed, sometimes it is left thinking when you move from one menu to another, however there is not so much information for this to happen.

Microsoft Teams is one of the reliable, simple to understand chat based meeting platform. available as free is best for schools colleges etc
Features like the ability to add a team picture ,create channels for class subjects, add apps like Flip grid and Quizlet, the meeting features are good for holding classroom sessions, virtual white boards and document sharing.Simple and easy process to setup Microsoft Teams
The Anti cheating feature teams cannot detect if students share or take screenshots. Recovering the deleted messages is not a smooth process .

Teams not only has the chat and meeting feature, but the messaging boards features that as an IT team, helps us separate things out into different chats and boards for everyone to streamline issues and results. The search and save message function as well are so helpful in finding old resolutions from forever ago that were posted on a specific board. There are also additional add-ins like Microsoft Planner or the shifts function that really makes it an all in one deal. I love using this daily and our employees love this software as well.
Sometimes there is a lag when you click certain button on the teams application. Also during meetings you'll need to ensure the proper audio and microphone are selected as they don't typically select the proper active ones on default. other than that it's amazing!

We have built "On-Call Teams" so users from around the world can use their mobile devices and call the "On-Call Team" and whichever member of the team is online at work can answer the call. We have built multiple project boards to maintain large IT projects. Team members are now working 100% remote and are more productive thanks to MS Teams.
Project boards, tasks, chats, and multiple meeting options have changed the way we do business. We are better able to manage our teams that are spread out around the world and keep up with when items are due and what items may need more attention.
The integration with Outlook Calendar can be a bit buggy at times if meetings are moved, especially if they have to be moved multiple times. Also the fact that users can click "join" on a meeting that is days away and notify all attendees of the meeting that it has been started can be confusing.

When my college campus had to send students home and transition to classes online - no one knew what to expect. Microsoft Teams has allowed my courses to continue relatively uninterrupted by consolidating our materials and allowing for our lecturers to be recorded for future reference. My classmates and I did not receive any official training on how to use the platform, but it was easy to learn how to use it.
- Straight forward design/onboarding (both for students and professors) - Organization for all relevant materials - Audio and Video calls (which can be recorded and posted) - Link files in the group - Chat with other users, or in post forums. - Lots of 3rd Party Integrations! (such as Trello boards which are great for collaboration)
- Mac does not have background blur feature - Only 4 video stream can be seen at once, the other attendees are hidden in calls - Screenshare option to share the full screen is not super obvious (recently opened files takes up to much room) - Sometimes notifications for video calls are not obvious in the post forum, so you have to go into your calendar to join a call. - Recently call quality has declined, I assume due to the increase in users on the platform using their server space.

My overall experience with the software has been positive. I enjoy using this software since it connects fluidly with other softwares in the Microsoft office package like PowerPoint, excel, etc.
This software made it easy to connect with coworkers through chats, calls, and video calls. It provided a useful setup with channels and boards where you can post questions and tag others. It provided backgrounds too for meetings that was not possible on Zoom due to low processor on computer.
There was anything that I disliked about the software but it would be nice to see more features added to the software in the future.

Microsoft Teams has been an essential tool especially as we dive into the setup of working from home and collaborating across countries.
Microsoft Teams contains an array of features essential to collaboration within the team and organizes information wonderfully. Beyond text chatting with teammates, you can also set up audio and video calls within the team. We've even set up a few extensions that allows us to create task boards which we use in our daily meetings.
There can still be challenges, especially as our company is global and there are times that we need to setup a company-wide conference call. Microsoft Teams may need to add features on master controls for conferences to establish better order when doing calls with hundreds of participants.

The software is very complete and enables a team to stay in touch accross continents with nice and easy to use features : chat, video, files sharing, digital white boards... I really liked the project approach : you can create a digital workspace for each project, inviting specific members, having a dedicated calendars, notes from calls, to do list...
The tool can be difficult to use externally (like inviting an outsider to join a project, an agency for example). Sometimes it is hard to upload large files.

Overall a very positive experience. Had to transition to using some king of remote meeting program and the user friendliness of Teams made that transition easy.
Easy to communicate with team members no matter their location. Makes for seamless meetings between head office & site offices. Ability for multiple users to share screens makes it easy to share pictures or prints or anything. Ability to host internal message boards is another positive, can passively share ideas for others to review at their convenience.
Initial loading of the program/meeting can be slow at times, but that may be a problem with my computer or internet connection.
