			                                                       Working in media, I have to transfer large video files around the world consistently, daily, almost hourly. So these platforms solve my ability to move very large files quickly.
			                                                       WeTransfer allows you to share video files or any uploaded files to multiple people for an unlimited amount of time if you have the paid version. And you can do up to 20 gigabytes, which is much larger than most other platforms.
			                                                       Dropbox is good for file organization and uploading large files into one location, and then sharing a link for an unlimited amount of time to whoever you might need to share the files with.
			                                                       Dropbox wasn't that easy to use at first, but I was an early adopter of the Dropbox platform. It became a lot easier to use as time went on. However, the interface never improved.
			                                                       When looking for this kind of software, you want a platform that allows you to send very large files. For me, since I'm in media, sometimes one file can be 10 or 15 gigabytes, and it's not that easy to find a platform that can quickly transfer that size of file reliably.

Both of these products have helped us when we need to transfer large files, either to clients or to internal teams that we don't necessarily interact with on a regular basis.
			                                                       WeTransfer is best for when you're doing more ad hoc file transfers. It's a lot simpler of a process. And so if you're only sending files occasionally and you don't really need to collaborate on them, WeTransfer works better. Dropbox Business is best for when you have a lot of transfers of large files that need to happen on a regular basis, and also when you need to collaborate more on those files and have good version control.
			                                                       It's pretty easy to get started with Dropbox. It's a cloud-based file transfer. So if you get your files up into Dropbox, you can start transferring them. I would say with WeTransfer it's even easier because you don't even need to create an account, you can just go to the website, upload your file, and then take either a link or an email to send it. So Dropbox is pretty easy, but I think that WeTransfer is even easier.
			                                                       The main things to consider when you're looking for this kind of software are how big are files am I going to be transferring? How often is there going to be back and forth with my collaborators as far as version control and also, what price point are you looking at? There is significantly different price between Dropbox and WeTransfer if you need those much larger file transfers. Dropbox can definitely tend to be more expensive.
