It is confusing, glitchy, and their customer support is terrible. It takes forever to even open and takes up way too much space on your computer and they don't let you switch your operating system.

The best thing about scrivener is the way that you can visually organise the sections or chapters of your novel, so that you can easily skip between them.

For a free program, it's also designed really beautifully and is quite slick. Very easy to use, and intuitive in using new functions you haven't used before.

The compile feature is difficult for me to grasp/clean up the first time I prepare my book for download.
