Best software to sync your gmail to your outlook.

2018-05-29

Outlook and Gmail syncing.

Pros

Easy to use, and it guides you step by step on how to set up and connect your email correctly. It works on the background so you don't notice it at all and it has inbox capacity option which improves the overall outlook experience.

Cons

Sometimes it lags or fails to sync calendars and users. Works flawless for emails, but not i have experienced slight problems with the other features.

Good product

2019-02-04

Pros

The google interface is simple, straight-forward, and more visually appealing than, say, Exchange. My company migrated from exchange to G Suite and it went swimmingly, customer service was top notch, and training was very good.

Cons

Google has an overall user-friendly interface, however, when using certain features (e.g. gmail) there are some things that are “hidden” and they are not easy to figure out if you’re new to gmail.

Using it everyday. This is almost everything I need to do my job.

2018-01-17

Nice access control for all company's apps (using GMail account as login - OAuth).

Pros

A lot of usefull things in single packacge. Single sign-on, simple access control. Everything could be easily shared with other members of my organisation and outside of it when needed.

Cons

You need to really good know it to use it full. Admin panel could more more user-friendly. And it would be great to have multiple user - one address mailing groups for sending e-mails (like support/contact e-mail box)

Big suite but hard to navigate

2019-02-14

I'm using Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Hangouts, everything is synchronised with my team members.

Pros

A lot of options, and a lot of products that are easy to setup for yourself and a team.

Cons

It's very complex, there's endless menu's, and setting up a thing as easy as a catchall email address might take a while to find, luckily the documentation has improved.

Pros

Love Gsuite for Gmail, Calendar, Drive and for single sign on with other apps with the team.

Expanded email capabilities

2019-04-01

Maybe G Suite is also how my business website-domain email address is masked through gmail, so that I can use the gmail web interface to access it?

Pros

I signed up to G suite so that I'd be allowed to send a couple thousand emails at a time, which I do once a week for my business. It also expanded my email/drive storage which was a wonderful bonus.

Cons

Price recently went up. It's still fine though.

G Suite Thoughts

Excellent platform on which to start a business or even a big project. You instantly can create the presence of a larger organization with centralized management and things like emails for domains.

Pros

Integrated with Gmail.

Cons

Lack of desktop apps (I know, I know, it's Cloud Services for a reason.... perhaps this won't matter to you, but I like to use the many benefits of the cloud in tandem with nice desktop applications.)

Works wonders with Google Suite. Can potentially work better with MS Suite.

2018-12-19

Pros

1) Easily integrate with other G Suite apps such as Drive, Sheets, Docs. 2) Easily integrated with MS Outlook Desktop Client through G Suite Sync for Microsoft Outlook.

Cons

1) Filters for forwarding don't support more than 1 email address at a time, so you have to create a new filter just to forward to another email ID. 2) HTML rendering is completely different from MS Outlook. This often wreaks havoc in formatting for HTML text emails. Makes a neatly composed email look like trash. Further, any content from an MS Application pasted into Gmail, leads to a formatting catastrophe. 3) Very plain user interface. 4) Important, official emails often get miscategorized as Updates or Promotions and may get skipped if the recipient isn't vigilant enough!

An incredibly simple, free, and reliable email service

2018-03-31

Pros

Great, simple interface that precludes the need to even use an email application many times. Easy to understand and use. Powerful filters, all of which run all the time regardless if your computer is on or email client is running. Free, and simple to integrate with many services online or set up in any email client. Generous amount of free storage which can also be upgraded using a Google Drive subscription. Powerful routing using special characters in the email address (such as username+something@gmail.com)

Cons

No unified user management interface for teams unless you upgrade to G Suite, which is then no longer free.

Pros

Gmail is synonymous to email now a days because of its simplicity, it is very easy to setup an email account if you are an individual and it is easy to use if you belong to an organization using G Suite. It covers a lot of features and there is very little that it goes wrong with.

Cons

It is the best of the best, and if you use the rest of the G-suite, then there's really no other option than this.

Cons

The one thing I would like to see improved are the internal menus/interfaces for settings, profile, etc. You can tell they haven't been updated in a hot minute, because they don't match the new branding and layout, and are a bit confusing. All in all though not a big issue!

Gmail AKA the Ultimate Key to Business Organization

2018-07-30

Pros

The definitive feature of G Suite Office Suite is the set of team collaborative tools available to you for sharing/file storage, creating forms (registration, survey, etc.), Excel, Word documents, and PPT with the option to collaborate in real-time.

Cons

Gmail’s email tracking is not the most suitable feature for those in marketing and sales, looking to keep track of open rates, link clicks, who clicked on the specific link, etc. But Google is completely transparent about this issue; Gmail’s documentation clearly states tracking may not be accurate, there are various factors you need to be aware of to make sure your actions don’t interfere with the tracking data. However, Gmail does easily support plugins you can add to allow for tracking (we use Lead Liaison). Sending mass emails with in Gmail is not exactly feasible because of limitations in functionalities for personalizing emails. Gmail does put ad placements on free on accounts, but they are pertaining to the contexts within your emails (so at least the trade-off is relevancy). We have experienced glitches and dropped calls on numerous occasions when utilizing Google Hangouts for virtual meetings (because we run monthly webinars we moved to Zoom video Conferencing which you must have a plan to for the webinar add-on). Google Hangout only provides the option to screen share, etc. during virtual meetings from a laptop using a Chrome device, not practical for people on the go.
