Previously we were using a physical server and when we started with Egnyte years ago "the Cloud" wasn't as big as it is now.  From the start it was obvious that this was a superior way of having a server that we have never looked back.

We couldn't work without it

File sharing across the company as well as with outside resources has made this product a no brainerr for me to use and recommend. 

Engyte provides enterprise solutioning for a small business price. 

The greatest benefits is being able to have a drive that is Hippa compliant where we can post sensitive client information and the information is protected

Great Product

We use Egnyte to share, access, upload/download files within and outside the office. It serves well some days but I am personally not a big fan of it knowing there are other platforms that work more seamlessly.

There isn't much I don't like about google drive. The offline work can be a little tricky at times and I have lost a few sentences due to this feature.

Filestream integrates perfectly with Windows Explorer. I LOVE that I can access files on my computer that are on the shared drive in the same way I would access a file in MyDocuments.

Overall I am pleased with drive. It is user friendly and being someone who is not tech savvy it is nice to be able to use without having to contact support.

Really the only thing I dislike about Egnyte is that there are no data sovereignty capabilities as far as I can tell. You can't specify where data is stored geographically.

The integration with other business tools, such as Google Drive and Microsoft Office, has also been very helpful. I synced all my devices to it to make my workflow smoother.

So if you're already paying for Teams, there's no point to get Egnyte unless you also get Protect or GxP environment. They're also too new in the GxP space so it is a bit unclear.

In Egnyte, they aren't difficult, but some users have difficulty managing the permissions on the website, since they only use the folders on their desktop (sync'd).
